You may remember that last March, the TSA threatened passengers with “a more ‘comprehensive’ physical screening” which “will be more thorough and may involve an officer making more intimate contact than before.” So “thorough,” in fact, that “the agency is warning local police departments that they may see an uptick in reports related to these up close and personal examinations.” As usual in the TSA’s warped world, it was punishing passengers for the failures of its thugs and perverts: “The change [was] partly a result of the agency’s study of a 2015 report that criticized aspects of TSA screening procedures. That audit, by the Department of Homeland Security’s Inspector General, drew headlines because airport officers had failed to detect handguns and other weapons” a record-breaking 95% of the time.
We are now suffering the fifth month of the agency’s “more comprehensive” gate-rape. And tests in Minneapolis show that despite its vigorous sexual assaults, the TSA is still missing the same percentage of contraband.
If these morons and perverts follow their usual pattern, passengers will once again pay the price for the goons’ failure—though I’m not sure how much more invasive the pawing can go. Perhaps require passengers to strip naked as well so the deviants can savor visually what they’ve previously only felt?
