In retrospect, the thread is quite interesting... ...Here in this classic Free Republic exchange 15 years ago between nopardons and Sneakypete (whom she called "Marxist".) Pete had just explained to one good Freeper (takenoprisoners) and other Freepers how and why Jeb wound up in Florida, eventually governing as a RINO/Statist/Globalist. But then the schooling continued as the infamous snob and often ignorant know-it-all Stalinist 'nopardons' (yes, STILL there posting) jumped into the exchange, no doubt armed with her favorite late night brand of 86-proof. As of this thread, Sneakypete had already been banished/Temp-a-Zotted twice before. Pete was one of THE first Freepers to expose the Bush Family as nothing but Globalist-Statist opportunists and poseurs of "Conservativism". He knew without a doubt that Dubya Bush was a phony conservative at a time at Free Republic when Dubya hero-worship was hot & heavy and support and trust was high; Freeper Cat-Ladies and Viking Kitties would still be posting the sycophantic "Day In The Life" of Dubya and his abortion-loving loony Stepford Wife for years after this exchange. Though it was a seemingly very unpopular, any cynical view of Dubya and the entire Bush clan was frowned upon, and would be for yet *another 10 years beyond! Pete's sin: Calling THAT spade "A SPADE"! He strongly asserted that Dubya ("Bubba-2") and his policies were merely an extension of Bill Clinton (aka "Bubba-1") = statist-globalist policies. HE WAS ABSOLUTELY RIGHT. *Years* before a great many many Freepers and blind Republican loyalists. The savvy Freepers who begun realizing they'd been betrayed by Bush, RINO sell-outs, aka the Statist-Globalist saboteurs were ostracized by ignorant, brainwashed Freepers for rejecting the Bush Family Myth and the obvious conspiracy to destroy America's sovereignty while advancing the Elite's New World Order. They wound up as Zotted Freepers landing at LP, LF, or other less Stalinist forums. Punctuating his final tour at Free Republic as a prescient, fearless poster, Pete also called out Dubya's phony, contrived war in Iraq in 2003. He rightly asserted that it was not only unjust, but un-righteous, predicting an unmitigated disaster at a time when opposing the Iraq War against Saddam was akin to being branded a "traitor," Marxist, or un-conservative/liberal. Though many Freepers would eventually (by 2006) come to realize they and the USA had been betrayed by Jim Robinson and his moderators as he and his minions colluded with pro-Open Border, pro-illegal Invasion Bush-Statist Lobbyists, this betrayal and damage was irreversible and extremely damaging to FR's cred as well as America itself. Strangely, even as late as 2015, many Freepers were STILL defending the statism of Dubya Bush and his co-globalist masters Iraq/A-Stan mission and agenda that would wind up dividing and weakening the USA and our national prestige, sovereignty, and Middle Class standard of living in several ways. The Bush Family and his extended Statist-Globalist family's crowning glory: NOT vetting and enabling the Presidential election of one Barack 0bama -- The ultimate Statist-Globalist-Marxist saboteur and termite. Crowning Glory #2: Aiding and abetting Bubba-1: "son," BILL CLINTON. Consider the Bush Family THE Termite Queen, helping and breeding foundation-destroying Enemies Within. As most anyone with a few working brain cells realizes in the year 2017 -- 14 years later -- Sneakypete was right about a lot of things. Seems like old news to me. Nopardons is STILL there posting her tush off! AND reprising her role as Stalinist know-it-all. Supporting Trump but trashing anyone who dares criticize him (sound familiar?) Retrospection in light of how, why and where we'd found ourselves just 6 years later is certainly "news". By 0bama's first term in 2009, the US was arguably integrating and transitioning its Deep State apparatus into forging a soft coup. Context of the Sneakypete-Nopardons exchange? Nopardons represented consensus opinion at FR From 2002 until 2008. Pete represented an opposition to Dubya and RINO agenda, during which time Dubya Inc. turned the US into a runaway TRAINWRECK. Yet Freepers were in denial and defended Dubya Inc. until midway into the Marxist-Muzzie's second term/regime. The Sneakypetes and those who recognized a subversive "conservative"-Republican President were discounted and ostracized. Ergo, the Party-First idiots at FR (including JR) contributed to our demise. As a result of dis-allowing Dubya Bush and the RINOs proper and open criticisms at the time, FR *could* have made a difference, as the forum was still a frce to be reckoned with, having just blew up Rathergate. However, JR and Freepers blew it. Those who merely mentioned "RINOs" and critical of Dubya AND the Iraq war were summarily zotted. From 2002 and until @2013. (I should know -- I was one of them under a different handle in 2011.) By purposely FUBARing and sabotaging our sovereignty, and advancing the LIBERAL/GLOBALIST agenda under wolf-in-sheeps'-clothing (Dubya Bush Inc), we'd found ourselves at the mercy of a Marxist-Muslim saboteur (enabled by Dubya Bush/Deep State Inc machination). This sabotage was enabled and emboldened by the SAME President (Dubya Bush) who was shielded from any criticism and coddled by JR and Freepers. It can be argued quite strongly that THIS current soft coup and Deep State rebellion can be traced to Dubya Bush's Statist-Globalist regime and their purposeful neglect/ignoring properly vetting 0bama. The connection and collusion between Dubya and Barry in which the US gubmint, process, AND Constitution has been hijacked CAN'T be "old news."
