Christopher Membreno (pictured) killed Manos Ikonomidis earlier this month after his girlfriend claimed Ikonomidis and another man raped her. A Brooklyn ménage à trois ended in murder and the man charged with the steamy slaying was stunned on Saturday when he discovered he may have been set up by his lying girlfriend. A disheveled and distraught Christopher Membreno, who spoke to the Daily News Saturday in an exclusive jailhouse interview at Rikers Island, says he was unaware that cops believe the tryst between his girlfriend and two other men was consensual. “I threw my life away for a f---ing lie? My life is over because of a f---ing lie,” a weeping Membreno told The News. The 24-year-old said he barely remembers what happened early Monday after his girlfriend called him claiming she had been raped in Brooklyn. She sounded “distraught, scared,” he said. Membreno rounded up some friends and they went looking for 20-year-old Manos Ikonomidis. They soon found him, leaving the Park Slope apartment where Membreno’s girlfriend had been earlier with him and another man. “I just wanted some f---ing justice. I wanted to hold him until the police got there.” But cops say Membreno and his posse set upon Ikonomidis with bats and knives, leaving him to die in a pool of blood in the hallway of the building before taking off. Membreno claims he was high at the time and doesn’t remember much of the murderous moment. “He was fighting me. I had to defend myself. I had to fight back,” he said. Police say there is no indication that Membreno was trying to defend himself. Ikonomidis, with three stab wounds in his chest and back, managed to knock on the door of a nearby apartment before collapsing. “They stabbed me! They stabbed me twice! They stabbed me!” he told the stranger who answered the door. “I’m so sorry.” Detectives believe that Membreno’s girlfriend, Ikonomidis and 21-year-old Jack Doherty were involved in a consensual threesome inside Doherty’s Park Slope pad earlier that night. The rendezvous ended abruptly, but only because the woman became upset when one of the men started filming the tryst, cops said. NYPD Chief of Detectives Robert Boyce said Tuesday detectives were still trying to piece together exactly what happened during the doomed fling in Doherty’s apartment. “We have a competing narrative in this case,” Boyce said. “We’re still trying to decipher exactly what happened that day.” Which was news to Membreno. “Did she set me up? I deserve to know the truth,” he told The News. Membreno said he hasn’t spoken to his girlfriend since being locked up — adding that he hasn’t slept or showered in five days. “This is my life now,” he said, ripping open his beige jumpsuit and grabbing it in his fist. “I can’t do it anymore. I really don’t know what I have to live for.” One of Membreno’s bat-wielding buddies, Gabriel DosSantos, 24, is also jailed at Rikers. He’s charged with with murder, weapons possession, gang assault and burglary, cops said Saturday. Membreno, charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon, said he harbors no ill will against his girlfriend. “I still love her even though she set me up,” he said. “I don’t know why I still love her. “I just want some answers,” he added.

You'd think. Accessory, co-conspirator, something.
Her boyfriend could have responded by taking her to the police station to file a report and have her examined. Had she refused, that should have set off alarm bells, at least enough to slow him down and keep him from acting irrationally.
Oh, i don't think he's got much of a defense regardless of what he (or his lawyer) might claim.
Congratulations chump. You've been had by the typical American broad.
When she told him, he had options. Now he ain't got nothin'. Act like an animal and we'll lock you up like one.
