To: Willie Green (#0) A president is not a king or dictator, and it's not like Trump has encouraged companies to go off shore. He certainly hasn't unlike so many others like Bush and Obama. Economic forces based on the US dollar being the reserve currency of the world has been the driving force of offshoring. The US exports easily printed paper money (or far more often, electronic credit money) and gets goods in return. It's a great deal for the US consumer and resisting it is swimming upstream.
