Title: ‘F*** you!’ Donald Trump blasted in German media after pulling out of Paris climate deal

DONALD Trump's decision to pull out of the Paris climate deal has not gone down well in Germany, if this tabloid’s choice of words is anything to go by.

Local newspaper Berliner Kurier use the powerful, if not vulgar, headline: “Earth to Trump: F*** you!” on its front page, in response to the US president backing out of the climate change deal.

The front page was published on Thursday ahead of the official announcement, but was widely circulated online after ’s speech yesterday.

One Twitter user, who was apparently from the US, wrote: “We completely agree with you . Our deepest, deepest apologies.”

Another tweeted: “Bravo. I couldn’t have said it any better.”

The Berlin tabloid is notorious for targeting politicians and doesn’t hold back in its attacks.

In March, the paper published an article about Israeli President Benjamin Netanyahu, labelling him as one of the world’s most insane leaders, using the word “Führer” — a term typically reserved for Adolf Hitler — to describe him.

The headline “The seven looniest leaders of the world” drew immediate and strong criticism from the Israeli Embassy, who blasted the report as antisemitic.

The newspaper's headline reads: 'Earth to Trump: F*** you!'

German chancellor was joined by French President and Italian Prime Minister Paolo Gentiloni in condemning President Trump’s decision to back out of the climate agreement, which is made up of nearly 200 countries.

The trio issued a statement shortly after Mr Trump’s announcement saying: “We deem the momentum generated in Paris in December 2015 irreversible and we firmly believe that the Paris Agreement cannot be renegotiated, since it is a vital instrument for our planet, societies and economies.”

German Foreign Minister Sigmar Gabriel also blasted the president’s announcement on Thursday, saying the move threatened economic growth and technical progress.

Several members of Merkel’s Cabinet took aim at Mr Trump, and issued a seething joint statement saying: “The is harming itself, us Europeans and all other people in the world.”

Mr Trump’s decision to abandon the agreement for environmental action signed by 195 nations is a remarkable rebuke to heads of state, climate activists, corporate executives and members of the president’s own staff, who all failed to change his mind with an intense, last-minute lobbying blitz.

The Paris agreement was intended to bind the world community into battling rising temperatures in concert, and the departure of the Earth’s second-largest polluter is a major blow.

The decision was, however, a victory for Stephen Bannon, President Trump’s chief strategist, and Scott Pruitt, the Environmental Protection Agency administrator, who both spent months quietly making their case to the president about the dangers of the agreement. (5 images)

any agreement that is good for Germany is bad for the rest of us, Merkel demonstrated an absolute disregard for the interests of the people of Europe by inviting in one million asylum seekers and economic migrants without consultation with anyone else and now the Germans think the rest of the world should toe their line. I don't agree with Dump in much he does, but pulling back from this illogical idea that economies should be destroyed to placate the nervous nellies of the AGW brigade is the correct direction. The US will achieve the climate objectives without Europe looking over its shoulder and all nations should be placed on an equal footing with equal responsibilities

Zieg Heil Merkel

Adult responsibilities and consideration of consequences are not something we talk about or concern ourslves about in national or international politics today. The process is one of getting behind an abstract high-sounding slogan without specific content and repeating it. The greater and more flowery the abstraction, the more distant from consideration of concrete consequences it becomes. Give yokels flowery rhetoric and speeches and they will obliviously try to march up a grizzley bear's behind repeating it.

It is a shame you have taken the cynical road and dissed your countrymen. Obviously a very large number of people wanted change and they voted for someone who offered change. Obviously too there was a lot of the impossible dream and tilting at windmills in the rhetoric but then there were a lot of windmills to tilt at. Dump may yet prove to be a knight in rusty armour, he certainly plays the harlequin well..

Don't blame the people

Angela Merkel isn't the only German that is mentally disturbed.

Keep it up you German assholes! Keep insulting the President of the USA while your women are constantly being raped and birthing Arab bastards.

Germany and France should scrutinize their income from tourism. It's in the tank and will remain there until the Second Coming when all the Muslim degenerates and their sycophants will be shoved down into the pit of hell!

Liberals are a lot like Slinkys, they're good for nothing but they bring a smile to your face as you shove them down the stairs.

This is in many ways a tempest in a teapot. As Weekly Standard pointed out in a 5-point article:

3) People keep trying to have it both ways. Either the Paris Treaty was largely symbolic—composed of voluntary benchmarks, etc.—so staying in the agreement is no big deal, or it's super-duper important symbolism, so pulling out of it is catastrophic if not literally eschatological.

The truth is it was consequential enough, because the Paris Agreement didn't exist in a vacuum. The Obama administration planned on enforcing it through the Clean Power Plan, which was the Obama EPA's signature accomplishment. The Clean Power Plan was premised on the idea that greenhouse gases should be regulated as pollutants by the EPA even though they don't pose an immediate public health threat.

In other words, if the Obama plan went through, federal bureaucrats at the EPA would have authority to control production capacity/energy consumption for basically all industries in the United States. That's bonkers and plainly unconstitutional even though courts are finding alarmingly creative interpretations these days. (It's worth noting the Supreme Court issued a stay against enforcing the Clean Power Plan in February, which, as Jonathan Adler notes, is pretty unusual. Even liberal legal scholars such as Laurence Tribe questioned whether the EPA could make such a power grab based on a reading of the Clean Air Act.)

So the Trump administration had some legitimate concern that the Paris Accord would be cited in lawsuits pursuant to their abandoning the Clean Power Plan, so they thought it best to undo them at roughly the same time. Oddly, there was comparatively little public outcry about his executive order killing the Clean Power Plan in March, even though it was an actually consequential law for reducing emissions. Disastrous and stupid, but actually consequential, unlike Paris.

It was the Clean Power Plan that was 0bama's and the EPA's crowning achievement and would have had the force of law and real teeth behind it. Hardly a peep was emitted even in America, let alone around the world. Then you have the withdrawal from the meaningless toothless Paris Accords and the whole world goes batshit over it.

It tells you just how political this was and how much Deep Virtue-Signalling was involved.

They have dissed themselves, I didn't do it to them. For well over 100 years they have voted verbose loud-mouths into high positions who should have had their heads chopped off and called it democracy.

Schwarzenegger holds himself in high esteem.

He's just pandering to the Hollyweird Left, trying to make a little more money in his old age, trying not to be read out of Hollyweird entirely. He's no Clint Eastwood who has some balls and still makes some pretty decent films in recent years. Arnold is a joke by comparison. Look at his last sad-ass Terminator movie to see what I mean.

What has he done 'officially' with which you disagree?

Perhaps you'd rather have the criminal Clinton serve as your president. She may, after all, become the president of Hell.....forever. The bloated pants suit and the thing she's 'welded' to would work feverishly to finish Obama's work: to make America a hell on earth.

Liberals are a lot like Slinkys, they're good for nothing but they bring a smile to your face as you shove them down the stairs.

spends his time as an agent provocateur on twitter..

Kowtows to the Saudi criminals

has done nothing to crush Daesh

Failed to improve relationships with the Russians as promised

Uses gunboat diplomacy, which has changed nothing

Makes stupid appointments

is about to preside over the greatest stock market crash in history

as to Dilliary, she is damaged goods and so not a desirable leader
