Former Vice President Joe Biden said Hillary Clinton was “never a great candidate” — but that he was. “I never thought she was a great candidate. I thought I was a great candidate,” Biden said at the SALT hedge fund conference in Las Vegas on Thursday, CNN reported. Despite his blunt assessment of the former Democratic candidate, Biden said Clinton “would have been a really good president.” Asked if he will seek the presidency in 2020, when he would be almost 78 years old, Biden said: “Could I? Yes. Would I? Probably not.” He emphasized that his focus now is on his family being “put back together” after the 2015 death of his son Beau from brain cancer and to fulfill financial promises to his wife, including paying off their mortgage. But the famously coy former veep added that once those responsibilities are taken care of, and he’s healthy and the best candidate, “I may very well do it.” “At this point, no one in my family or I have made the judgment to run,” Biden said. He also addressed the need to fix the problems facing the country. “Let’s wake up!” he said. “This is America. We all walk around like, ‘Oh my God. What are we going to do?’ C’mon, man!” Biden didn’t target President Trump directly, but he did appear to allude to the recent turmoil in the White House. President Obama went eight years “without a single scandal,” he said to applause. “Not one.”

As Vice President for 8 freakin' years, you were the logical candidate. But it wasn't your turn. As for being a "great candidate"? No. You were, and are, a joke.
Dopey Joe the Gropy Retard could have run on a Hire The Handicapped ticket and very well might have won. By 2020, Dopey Joe won't even know what year it is.
And be called "racist"? The State Department was one huge scandal with the goings-on at the Clinton Foundation. Then there was, of course, Bengazi. Cash and terrorists in exchange for Iranian hostages. The Iran nuke deal. Running guns to the Mexican cartels. IRS targeting conservatives. Spying on AP reporters. Bill Clinton meeting with Loretta Lynch on the tarmac. Solyndra and all the other "clean energy" companies funded by the federal government. Can you imagine Trump trying any of that?

I disagree. Imho, the only sure votes biden could count on would have come from his family. And he killed off most of them.
