WASHINGTON (AP) -- President Donald Trump has fired FBI Director James Comey. In a statement, Trump says Comey's firing "will mark a new beginning" for the FBI. The White House says the search for a new FBI director will begin immediately. Comey's firing comes days after he testified on Capitol Hill about the FBI's investigation into Russia's election meddling and possible connections between Russia and Trump's campaign.

Comey deserved to be fired for not doing his job. Instead he tried to walk the tightwire between duty and kissing Clinton ass by not filing charges against her and her campaign. Seems like a man as educated and smart as Comey would know and understand the old axiom that states "No man can serve two masters",and understand that "duty" MUST be the PRIME master. Instead he tried to dance through the rain drops without getting wet by trying to please everyone so he could keep his job. In the entire history of the world,the only nations that had to build walls to keep their own citizens from leaving were those with leftist governments.

He struck me as a hoover wannabe without the brass balls.
Hoover,as a closeted homosexual in the 30's,HAD to have brass balls to survive. Of course,access to all the confidential "raw" Feeb files on prominent politicians,movie stars,socialites,newspaper owners,editors,and businessmen didn't hurt,either. Hoover practically invented the strategy of "Mutual Assured Destruction."
