As gasoline prices soar higher and higher, America's political leaders should be working to solve the supply and demand imbalance, the root- cause of skyrocketing oil prices. Unfortunately, the Democrat party is adamantly opposed to measures that would increase the supply of this precious commodity. Why? Because environmental elitists like Al Gore have decided that average Americans should not drive automobiles. In Gore's warped vision, the unwashed masses can damn well walk, skateboard, bike, hike or, preferably, not navigate at all. Except when headed to the polls to vote for Democrats, of course! Mind you, "Limousine Liberals" like Gore, the Clintons, John Kerry ET AL will ALWAYS have their SUVs, stretch limousines and the like. Elitist liberal arrogance gone mad! In advancing their "No Automobile" agenda, liberals obviously exacerbate the gasoline crisis by toiling 24/7 to do the following: -Obstruct oil drilling, as in Alaska -Obstruct added refinery capacity via extreme environmental regulations -Obstruct nuclear energy & other reasonable alternative energy sources -Tax "windfall profits" & implement other anti-business steps that stifle efforts to increase oil supply What about the demand side? Liberals are just as mindless there, opting to add federal and state taxes to the cost of gasoline at every opportunity. Clearly, our current "gas pains" are the product of liberalism run amok. So, the question voters will have to answer this November is: Are you looking forward to paying $5 for a gallon of gas? If so, vote for 'obstruct and tax' Democrats!

Have you lost your mind? Look, here's the problem: President George W Jackass can't keep his big mouth shut and stop issuing threats to Iran. As a result, the market panics, oil prices rise, record profits are being posted and CEO's are laughing all the way to the bank with their 400 million dollar retirement packages. China and India are inking deals for oil.. All while we're threatening a nuclear attack and staring dirty looks at Hugo Chavez. Don't you see a problem here? All this.. but what do I see when I log on? Ridiculous, brain dead whinings about how the evil, devious Democrats are going to make gas unafordable and to be sure to vote GOP in November! HA! This is Dubya's fault. For him, his supporters or the GOP at large to show up in the eleventh hour and claim they are the only ones who can be trusted with US Energy Policy is positively the most hypoctirical, stupid, retarded, insulting thing I've seen since the last time our jackass "President" opened that gaping fucking hole in his twisted, misshapen, spoiled rotten, lumpy fucking face, removed the silver spoon and uttered positively anything. Ya know, The GOP and it's lackeys are just going to have to learn that real leadership is more than just pissing on everyone and claiming it rained. People are catching on.. You dumbasses are going to make one too many trips to this well, and soon. When that finally happens, ya'll are going to learn the hard way that "Wag the Liberal" hysterics and scare mongering is no substitute for responsible and principled governance. So say those who follow the 40- cent-a-month increases that have been the rule since the cherry blossoms bloomed. You wonder whether anybody in the Senate or the House has noticed. They blame everybody but themselves for the predicament facing motorists across the nation, including here in Alaska, as the summer driving season nears. It57;s the fault of President Bush. It57;s Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfelt57;s fault. Blame it on our presence in Iraq. Russia surely has something to do with it. And maybe even the debate on immigration reform. Anybody and anything but those members of Congress who steadfastly have refused to vote for oil exploration and development on the coastal plain of the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. Oil from ANWR would now be flowing to market had not former President Bill Clinton, wrapped in the green coat of environmental extremism, vetoed legislation that would have opened the coastal plain. Since then, renewed efforts to get production from this barren coastline have failed under pressure from environmental lobbies and congressmen seeking election votes rather than searching for energy supplies. Sen. Maria Cantwell, the Washington state Democrat who is running for re- election, is one of the anti-ANWR champions. She and others like her argue that opening ANWR now would not relieve crude oil shortages now. She57;s right, of course. It will take 10 years, the experts say, for exploration and development to reach the point where discoveries can begin to flow south in the trans-Alaska pipeline. But had not Clinton scrubbed the previous deal, ANWR oil would be on the market now. And if it takes another 10 years to overcome Cantwellism, we well may be looking at gasoline that costs $8 a gallon. Surely the ordinary soccer moms out there will wake up and start demanding that the politicians in Washington quit playing political games with their family budgets. This is an election year, after all 52; and Mr. and Mrs. American can57;t be as blockheaded as some members of Congress. Each day ANWR languishes in the halls of Congress, gasoline prices rise. And you can bet the price at your corner station in Anchorage will top $3 a gallon before summer is over. Now stop insulting the collective intelligence of planet earth with your bullshit and spin. Fact is, there's oil out there RIGHT NOW. Everyone's getting a hand in it but us. You're whining about ANWR and playing "wag the Liberal" (Yet again) while our Humiliation in Chief is busily pissing off everyone who has it. Chavez, the leader of Venezuela, is closing the spigot. We're also actively threatening the leader of Iran, and suffering likewise for this stupidity masquerading as US Energy Policy. Instead of inking oil deals, we're freezing out people who can actually sell us this vital commodity TODAY, and you're blaming Clinton? lol! Like I said earlier, pissing on everyone and calling it rain is no substitute for responsible governance, and it's not going to get us any oil either.
