Forget term limits! It is time to legalize dueling. Society would be polite and politicians would be honest. Poster Comment: The ruling political class in Maine would then serve at the will of the people.

The graphic is nice enough but this whole notion of gunfighters meeting on Main Street to duel in the Old West is a creation of Hollyweird where it was the staple of countless movies and TV shows. It virtually never happened in real life. Recall Ma Feinstein and her "assault rifle"? Or Schmucky Schumer with his Uzi?

Yup. We don't have many rooftops high enough in Maine, so we do with what we have and the drug problem goes down and down and down. Thanks to Governor LePage, whom the druggies and liberals hate, there are fewer and fewer dealers and therefore less druggies.

Margaret Thatcher did that in a Challenger tank in 1986 (two years prior) and it helped her reelection. Dukakis probably thought it would do the same for him.
