Ramiro Cruz, 52, of Jackson Heights, was arrested for grabbing a student's hand and causing a sprained finger. Cops arrested a Queens middle school teacher Wednesday for grabbing a students hand and twisting it hard enough to cause a sprained finger, officials said.
Police were called to Intermediate School 145 known as the Joseph Pulitzer School on 80th St. in Jackson Heights Wednesday. There, officers arrested Ramiro Cruz, 52, also of Jackson Heights, and charged him with assault.
The student suffered a sprained left middle finger, police said. Cruz was released with a desk appearance ticket.
