The Murdoch family fired Bill O’Reilly today the top personality on cable news for the past 15 years. James and Lachlan Murdoch, two committed leftists, have a much different vision than their father for the FOX News channel. The new FOX News will not include Bill O’Reilly. In fact, the Murdoch family did not even allow Bill to say good-bye to his friends and millions of fans. They wiped Bill O’Reilly’s name from “The Factor” on Wednesday night. Bill made them billions. The Murdoch family did not even let him say goodbye. Many conservatives are hoping O’Reilly will join with Roger Ailes and start a new network to compete with FOX News. In another sign of the direction of the new FOX News the Murdoch family not only dumped Bill, but promoted far left hacks Bob Beckel and Juan Williams. Tucker Carlson is moving to the 8 PM slot. Sean Hannity will keep his 10 PM slot. And FOX will move “The Five” to the 9 PM slot. “The Five” a panel show with six co-hosts: Kimberly Guilfoyle, Dana Perino, Bob Beckel, Greg Gutfeld, Jesse Watters and Juan Williams. The Murdochs believe the FOX viewers want to see more of far left hacks Williams of Beckel. Seriously? This will not end well. Poster Comment: The Murdochs must be crazy! Since the majority of O'Reilly's viewers are Conservatives, the last thing they want to see more of are these two bumbling phony liberal shills for Hillary and anything DemocRAT. I can't believe that these allegations were enough to justify paying off these gals and ruining a man's career and name. This country has been going down the shitter for years now, since the presidency of 'slick willy'. Bill O might be a womanizer, but I don't see him as the type who takes advantage of women or that the high-heeled, blonde chicks are afraid that he might assault them sexually or rape them! Perhaps they want their ratings to descend to the level of MSNBC or CNN.

I am however a huge fan of justice. I have read where charges against them were made, and huge monetary settlements were paid out, but I never read where they had any chance at all to defend themselves….either in a court of law or in the court of public opinion. And that, I strongly feel was wrong….definitely wrong. I didn’t closely follow either the situation with O’Reilly or Ailes. I would only hear or read a minute of so comment made from time to time. I remember that supposedly 10 or so women came forward with a statement that they had been “sexually offended” by what O’Reilly said to them. I remember the last two made against O’Reilly. One who said she was “sexually offended, was a black female who had an office nearby O’Reilly’s office and as he would pass by he would occasionally refer to her as “hot chocolate”….as in “how is my hot chocolate doing today?” Now, I am not a black woman. But I feel if I were and some world famous male referred to me “hot chocolate” then I would feel highly complimented. The one I heard yesterday, was a woman who came forward and stated that she was “sexually offended” by O’Reilly because he occasionally said “you’re looking good” to her. Until I learn factual truth, I say all of the charges and actions against O [Reilly and Ailes went beyond stupid. If it is proven that either O’Reilly or Ailes did something for which they should have been fired….then I am comfortable with that and they should have been fired. But that they were fired simply because women came forward with “charges” raised my hackles. Gawd, I hate “jump on tactics” and agenda drives by “PC critters” with a passion….as much as I dislike “cop-haters” who show no justification for their opinions and condemnation remarks which they base their solely on what they read in fake news and yellow journalism articles. Bill and Roger, you two can become our modern day version of the “Lone Ranger” and “Tonto” …
They were the most powerful people at the network. I think they had plenty of representation to tell their side of the story. They weren't shitcanned for no good reason. The Murdochs aren't dumb. O'Reilly was a regular gold mine for them. An underreported aspect here is that dumping O'Reilly is considered to strengthen the bid being made by the Murdoch boys to buy Sky cable in Britain. After Lachlan's little media spying scandal, they are under extra scrutiny but firing O'Reilly supposedly makes them look more responsible and mainstream. So firing O'Reilly to help them close on a huge media purchase in Europe makes some sense. And how many more years was O'Blarney going to keep going anyway? The Murdoch boys are young and looking decades down the road, well beyond any tenure O'Reilly could have had. Maybe. Typically, these high-end media contracts contain no-compete clauses. So with Ailes taking $40M and O'Reilly taking $25M in separation allowance for early contract termination, there are probably clauses in that that prevent them from discussing the settlement or the case(s) in public or in working for any other network for a few years. Look at Dan Rather on that HDNet channel with his sad little show. Or Larry King who, I think, ended up on RussiaToday. Or even Leno who decided to just fully retire and not come back again. I think they're both gone for good.

I am no fan of either Bill O’Reilly or Roger Ailes. Many conservatives are hoping O’Reilly will join with Roger Ailes and start a new network to compete with FOX News.
I say “go for it” Bill and Roger. And if you join together to form an new network, then I will turn every TV set in my home to your new channel 24/7/365, except to channel select on the one I am watching, to add to the ratings. Furthermore, I will actively email support to all the advertisers. I will then continue to do everything I can to make the new venture a success….including becoming a stock holder.
