Well, I hate to say I told you so, but…I told you so. Look, I was suspicious of Trump from the beginning. But for a couple weeks into his presidency, I was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. I didn’t just criticize the man day in and day out from Day One. After a couple weeks, though, it became very obvious that he was no different than any other president. I’ve been predicting he’d get us into two no-win wars long before this deal with Syria and North Korea began. Well, this morning the news has “revealed” photos of a North Korean nuclear test site they’re about to go hot with a new test on. Right, just like the Syrian gas attack, this is the “smoking gun” planted on the body by the dirty cop. There’s a U.S. aircraft carrier on its way to the region right now. The Russians have already warned SecState Tillerson that another attack on Syria will not be tolerated. Period. And Trump has now said relations with Russia are at “an all-time low”. What, you mean like it’s 1962 all over again, Don? So, what, we’re actually going to mix it up with the Russians AND North Korea at the same time?!? For what?!” Of course Trump wasn’t going to concentrate on “America first”, people! They ALL say that—right before getting us into two no-win wars! And you can’t believe anything this guy says. He’s flip-flopped so much, he might as well be a fish with John Kerry’s character. Mark my words, this man is leading us into a disaster of epic proportions. See here. A war with Russia or North Korea or both at the same time isn’t going to be some little scrap we can cease-fire our way out of. We’re talking substantial casualties in the tens of thousands and the loss of substantial military assets. Probably at least one aircraft carrier or more. Plus, let’s not forget Russia has the capability of attacking the United States itself. Gosh, and we took down all those air raid sirens after the Cold War ended. Someone better go see what warehouse they got stored in and function check them. That such a war could turn nuclear goes without saying. But the fact is, if we lose this war, we’re not going to be allowed to cease-fire our way out of it. No. There’s going to be a price and a surrender will only be the down payment. See, we keep going through this thinking we’ll never lose a war. Or that when it goes sour, we can just sign a cease-fire and let the propped-up regime take over the payments. We’ve never given any thought as to what actually losing a war in the real sense will look like. Well, we better start thinking about it. We didn’t win the Korean War the first time. What makes us think we’re going to win the rematch? What, and China will just sit there and twiddle their thumbs? Again, this man is leading us into a disaster no one in this country is prepared for. I will admit I voted for Trump. Thought the next POTUS would be either him, or the bitch. If I would have voted for anyone else, I would have voted Constitution Party. I wish we had another Ross Perot. I have to admit that I am disappointed in Trump. I told my wife the night of the election, that before it was over, he would disappoint a lot of his supporters. I did not trust him. I maintain what I consider a healthy skepticism.
Not me! It was that insane evil SOB that got us Bubba Clinton as president. It also made him a billionaire after the election,when Bubba invited Perot to the WH to sign the multi-billion dollar contract to have Perots company EDS digitize all the SS records. Perot was nothing but a whore for the Clintons.
I have to admit that when Perot backed out the first time, I smelled a rat. But what really got Bubba in, was that Bush was a shit sandwich, he had proven that. The Rep die hards just could not go for anybody else, and EVERYBODY knew he was a turd. We should have nominated PJB. If Bush hand not been a turd, Perot would not have made any difference. To give Perot the credit you do, greatly discounts the turd Bush was. With Perot getting in, then out, Bush should have won, but Bush was a clump of horse turds.
Yep. Republicans got President Clinton for the same reason Democrats got President Trump: the parties just absolutely INSISTED that a wholly unacceptable man, or woman, be the President, and gave the country no choice. But the country DID have a choice, in both cases. Reading the comments here, it seems as though some Republicans are STILL as butt-hurt that their unacceptable HW Bush lost as Democrats are their their equally unacceptable Hillary Clinton did. In both cases, America did the smart thing and rejected the worse option. Clinton was better than H W Bush, and Trump is a lot better than Clinton. The people chose WISELY. Stubborn Republican and Democrat assholes REFUSE to admit they were wrong for trying to force a turd sandwich down the country's throat. They both speak, in their narrow-minded partisan fever, as though the country "woke up" and realized it's "mistake". But actually, America liked Clinton a lot, and supported him for a second term. With 20/20 hindsight, Clinton would have beaten H W Bush worse than he did. Republicans will never admit it, but it's the truth. Likewise, people may not like Trump, but nobody but Democrat bitter-enders would prefer that Hillary won. Trump may annoy many, but Hillary is STILL perceived as being much worse. The country did not regret re-electing Obama instead of Romney. Partisans who won't accept that their candidate was rejected don't get it, and never will.

That's because they see politics as an extension of sports,and either the Dim Party or the alleged Republican Party is their "Home Team",and by GAWD they are not going to cheer for a victory by any other team! Truth to tell,they don't even give a damn about America. What they care about is THEIR "team" winning because they makes THEM "winners",too.
