Donald Trump reportedly planning a shift to the center as he tries to reset his presidency Eric Lutz Apr 9th 2017 2:28PM President Donald Trump — backed by advisers Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner, his daughter and son-in-law — is reportedly planning a centrist push in an attempt to recover from a rocky start to his presidency. White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus is "with the program," a senior White House official told Axios, but it isn't clear if chief strategist Steve Bannon is. The shift from Bannon's slash-and-burn approach to a more "competence- and results-driven" one comes as the top Trump aide and former Breitbart head grows increasingly isolated within the administration. Bannon reportedly threatened to quit the administration after he was demoted from the National Security Council this week, and has been engaged in a high-profile feud with Kushner, whose role in the White House has expanded in recent weeks. Kushner has apparently taken issue with Bannon's stated desire to "deconstruct" the government, while Bannon has slurred Kushner as a "globalist" and a "cuck." Poster's note: We've been sold our again. Every time we adopt a center position, the radical left responds by moving the center position farther left. The center is a mirage that keeps moving as you chase it. Who the hell elected Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner to anything? What qualifications did they satisfy other than being related to an imbecile president?

I dunno. I'm starting to feel like I'm watching Celebrity Apprentice, White House Edition. Who will Donald fire this week? Tune in... I'm certain some of this is just a show for the media, to keep them busy. How much and which parts? Just keep watching! I wouldn't put it past Trump to turn his entire presidency into a reality TV show.
That's what his campaign was. Why should his presidency be any different? He's still a carnival barker, combined with family ties. Those family connections will be his downfall.
The more I see of them, the more creepy Kushner and Ivanka seem to be. Assuming this story of WH infighting is not just a big put-up job by Trump to keep the media busy, my expectation is that Priebus/Bannon will stop holding Jared and Ivanka back from their liberal policy agenda and will just let them run headlong into the buzz saw of congressional opposition to Democrats running the White House.
And the downfall of this nation along with him. You only get a limited number of chances in this life. We've thrown away four chances with the election of the previous four presidents. If trump keeps screwing up and is replaced by a Hillary type, we're through, done for, ausgespielt. People in this country absolutely must grow up. The role models we've had in political office are self obsessed 15 years olds.
I can't watch the whole thing, too painful! After reading that, I feel strongly reassured. We are in good hands now! What else can she do on the side?
I have noticed that the rabid Trump cheerleaders ( Trump Bots ) are acting just like the Obama Bots, and the Hillary bots. They are fanatics in their support. If you disagree with him on anything, they take it that you are attacking Trump, and you are not smart enough to discuss him, LOL No matter what Trump does, it is A-OK. ( He is the smartest person walking the earth, he plays 75 D Chess, etc, etc ) They are blindly following him. They have no ability to apply rational skepticism, do not recognize any of his faults, think he can do no wrong. I think they were so invested in his candidacy that to admit to any of his faults, they consider they would be admitting that they were wrong. At least some people I know appear that way to me.
