First Daughter Ivanka Trumps intervention may have tipped the balance in her fathers decision to order Fridays strike on a Syrian air base.
A memo from Britains ambassador to Washington, Sir Kim Darroch, to Prime Minister Theresa May made the point that Ivankas concern was a significant influence in the Oval Office, according to The Sunday Times of London.
Darroch noted that President Trump was genuinely shaken by televised pictures of the 87 civilians killed in a chemical attack.
The ambassador also pointed to a tweet by Ivanka, who said that she was heartbroken and outraged by the images coming out of Syria following the atrocious chemical attack.
