According to the current results of the DrudgeReport online poll, the majority who responded support Trump’s strike in Syria.

With 52,087 Total Votes so far, 65% responded the strike is “good,” compared to 20% who responded “bad” and 14% who “don’t know.”

Most ally nations have supported Trump’s actions.

Sheep - brainwashed by the MSM.

Cheerleading US Aggression

A New York Times report read like a Pentagon press release, saying Trump ordered “missile strike(s) in Syria in response to the Syrian government’s chemical weapons attack this week…”

A separate Times article claimed “Trump was right to strike” Syria - justified by falsely accusing its military of “using a weapon of mass destruction…”

A neocon/CIA-connected Washington Post propaganda piece headlined “Trump enforces the ‘red line’ on chemical weapons.”

The Wall Street Journal ranted about Trump “order(ing) a military strike that the world’s thugs will notice” - calling naked US aggression “an important first step to save lives, enforce global order, and improve the strategic outlook for the US and its allies.”

Instead of denouncing Trump’s naked aggression, the Journal praised it - a despicable act, perhaps prelude for much worse to come.

Trump Betrays Trumpism: Syria in the Crosshairs

President Donald Trump has launched an attack on a Syrian air base in retaliation for the alleged sarin gas attack supposedly carried out by Bashar al-Assad’s government on Islamist rebels in Idlib. The irony is this contradicts every statement he ever made about Syria in the presidential campaign. Furthermore, this attack takes place barely 72 hours after the alleged incident, with no clear evidence that Assad was responsible.

Trump campaigned against precisely the kind of intervention that he is now launching. At a news conference in the Rose Garden, with King Abdullah of Jordan looking on, he said:

“I now have responsibility. It crossed a lot of lines for me. When you kill innocent children, innocent babies – babies, little babies – with a chemical gas that is so lethal … that crosses many, many lines, beyond a red line…. I do change and I am flexible. That attack on children yesterday had a big impact on me. Big impact. It was a horrible, horrible thing. It’s very, very possible that my attitude toward Syria and Assad has changed very much.”

Twenty-four hours after the alleged incident – with the United Nations still refusing to say whether there had been a gas attack, or, if so, who is responsible – the President of the United States does a complete turnaround, ditches a campaign promise, and takes us to the brink of a greatly expanded war in Syria.

For a little extra irony, those who have been smearing him as a “Russian agent” and are trying to destroy his presidency are the very same people who have been urging him to “act presidential” and launch an attack on the government in Damascus.

Welcome to Bizarro World, where up is down, left is right, and the biggest enemy of Trumpism is … Trump.

As the situation stands now, it looks we've like been had.

Only weeks ago, both Trump and Tillerson were telegraphing moderate signals on Syria and Assad leading many Trump supporters to believe that Trump might conduct himself the way he suggested he would in the months leading up to his nomination.

At that time Trump denounced both further involvement in Syria as well as the use of military force without action by Congress. He's now crossed the Rubicon on both propositions.

Myself, I don't believe a word of the Assad-Sarin-gassed-his-own-people story. There is nothing for Assad to gain in such an action.

Aluminum tubes, yellow cake, Kuwaiti babies pulled from incubators and thrown on the hospital floor, mobile bio-weapons labs, Osama's vast Man of the Mountain redoubts, etc., etc. We have seen this all before.

I am so DONE.

It's not a poll. It's an online vote by people who visit Druge Report, which is obviously going to be biased in favor of Trump in a strong way.
