Alec Baldwin made an explosive confession in his new memoir, Nevertheless. And now famed producer Dana Brunetti, 43, is speaking out against the claim that the 59-year-old actor (who was 47 at the time) didn't know co-star Nikki Reed was 'seventeen' while filming R-rated drama Mini's First Time in 2006. 'My first indie film was Mini's starring @AlecBaldwin who knew @NikkiReed_I_Am was 16 (not 17) and he didn't mind,' Brunetti began his twitter rant. It's not true! Famed producer Dana Brunetti, 43, is speaking out against Alec Baldwin's claim he didn't know co-star Nikki Reed was '17' while filming R-rated drama Mini's First Time in 2006 Alec claimed in the new book that he did not know Nikki was underage when they filmed sex scenes for the movie and that he 'flipped out' at producers when he learned the truth. But Brunetti says that's not true and goes into a long-winded explanation taking up 11 tweets. The House of Cards producer goes on to explain that Alec knew before Nikki was cast: 'in fact @NikkiReed_I_Am was 1 of 4 actresses "AlecBaldwin had approved and her being the only 1 of those 4 repped by HIS own agency CAA.' He claims that if Alec yelled at the producer, it wasn't him. 'My first indie film was Mini's starring @AlecBaldwin who knew @NikkiReed_I_Am was 16 (not 17) and he didn't mind,' Brunetti began his twitter rant. In a 11-tweet rant, the producer claims Alec knew Nikki was underage before they started filming and never 'yelled' at any of the producers 'The only time "AlecBaldwin ever yelled at me was on the phone and it was about one of the producers who worked with the financier.' The two-time Oscar-nominated producer goes on to explain that the film's director Nick Guthe liked the idea because they wouldn't be 'pressured into shooting scenes with nudity.' Fabrication? Brunetti says Alec has been 'impersonating' Trump for too long and was doing a bit of 'method acting' when writing his new book Trying to give Alec the benefit of the doubt, he jokingly asserts the actor might be 'impersonating Trump a lot, so maybe there was a bit of method acting when writing his book?' He also asserts he has confirmation from three other members of the cast and crew backing him up and says the real issue in the book is that he says Alec yelled at producers. 'If @AlecBaldwin had simply said in his book he didn't know @NikkiReed_I_Am's age, I would let it go. However to say that when he found out after filming he yelled at the producers (I being 1 on the film) makes it out to seem we did wrong.' Brunetti, who is President of Kevin Spacey's production company, brought the A-lister into the mix. He finished: 'UNLESS @AlecBaldwin saw @KevinSpacey some event after and yelled at him?? Though that would be wrong too, because again, Alec knew.' 'I flipped out': Alec was 47 when he filmed the scenes with a 16-year-old Reed for the film Mini's First Time is an indie film produced by Kevin Spacey's production company Trigger Street Productions and features Alec as a married man who has a torrid affair with his step-daughter (Reed). Vanity Fair did a profile on Brunetti in 2016, calling him the most hated executive in Hollywood, as he's young, successful, handsome -- and owns three Ferraris. His successful box office hit Fifty Shades of Grey made $564 million at the box office. Alec Baldwin's memoir Nevertheless hit stands Tuesday April 4. Not defending Baldwin here (I think he's a POS) but it seems to me that if there was no actual sex involved, then there is no crime. Kinda perverse but not something that can be prosecuted. True,but still a little creepy. Then again,anything that involves Alec Baldwin is a little creepy because the word "creepy" pretty much defines him. BOYCOTT PAYPAL AND CLOSE YOUR PP ACCOUNTS NOW! True,but still a little creepy. Not quite the same level as Roman Polanski raping a 13-year-old. He got off with a slap on the wrist. Under the terms of the plea agreement, the court ordered Polanski to report to a state prison for a 90-day psychiatric evaluation, but granted a stay to allow him to complete his current project. Under the terms set by the court, he traveled to Europe to complete filming. Unethical but not illegal. If it was legal for her to do the scenes, it cannot be illegal for Baldwin. Of course, he's still a scumbag but we all knew that anyway.
Interesting,you make a good point. If it is done while filming a movie, does that count or is that considered "artistic expression"? I don't know either. Baldwin is certainly not the first one to have done this. The actress Sue Lyon was 16 when she appeared in "Lolita" with James Mason in 1962, but I don't think that movie was quite as explicit. I wonder who gave consent.

You would think that Baldwin's agent would have informed him of who his co-star was prior to him entering into any consensual agreement with the minor actress at the time. I don't partly blame Baldwin for his claim of ignorance of her actual age. I blame the producers and the agents who were informed. Somewhere there exist agency law where the agent and the producer failed to disclose certain facts about what they intend to deliver (produce a film) to their clients. The agent is the one who would be at fault for they have the information and keep a close connection with directors and producers. If Baldwin had any sense he should sue his agent and any others who had prior knowledge of this as he is concerned about his image being tarnished. Not that this is extraordinary news but Hollywood actors and nudity have always gone hand in hand since the days of Marilyn Monroe. It's definitely not glamorous but actually seedy and very dirty. You have to live the life of an actor to understand what the business aspect of it all is. The reality does not come as a shock to those like myself who have been exposed to this since I was a minor. If anybody remembers the days of Bo Derek, I believe she was also subjected to much of this too. Same for Brooke Shields where her own mother was pimping her out from the time she was just 13. Somebody on this thread inquired who gives the consent to this obsenity? Well, if the talent agency's client happens to be a minor, chances are the parents are giving the consent. That's the reality. But this now changing as thanks to those like the late actor Gary Coleman (God bless that man), who began the trend of suing his parents for exploiting him. Same for Justin Bateman and hosts of other actors who followed realizing they have rights.
It goes back at least as far as jackie coogan (uncle fester on the addams family) who was apparently quite a successful child actor who was robbed blind by his parents.
I loved Uncle Fester. What a shame he had to endure such abuse. But believe it still to this very day, we have those like Britney Spears, Jessica Simpson, along with the Jackson 5 who were also part of this abuse as well. All fine performers but were abused and exploited by their parents as well. In the case of Spears, her dad went out to have her assets in his name. I know there are white slavery laws on this as well as child labor laws but unless these people have an attorney representing their interests, they will be nothing but a tax write off to their parents/"managers" on their tax returns. And I truly hate this about those kind of parents.

Yes, both were assets to their dads who pimped them out. I hope they come to their senses and sue just like others have done. There are laws against this in the books. No child should ever have to subject to these types of abuse in any form whatsoever. We have labor laws and white slavery laws in our books. The parents should be thrown in jail and their children's monies restored to them in the form of a conservatorship by the court and emancipated if deemed necessary as such parents are just plainly very toxic to the souls of such children like these.
