On Sunday, Russian President Vladimir Putin requested to meet with President Trump through his spokesman, who said the meeting would focus on building a relationship between the two powerful nations. Putin made headlines recently when he once again adamantly denied tampering in the 2016 presidential election.
When asked if he had any involvement at all in the U.S. election, Putin pointed at his mouth and said, Read my lips

Putin adviser Dmitry Peskov said on ABCs This Week with George Stephanopoulos that Trump and the Russian president should meet each other and exchange views in order to build a relationship between the two nations.
He said this just moments after Trumps ambassador to the United Nations, Nikki Haley, said she does not trust Putin and that theres no love in the relationship between the U.S. and Russia.
A number of investigations are underway in Washington over the extent of Russias involvement in hacking last years U.S. presidential elections.
Democrats are pressing the idea of Trumps complicity with Russia in the hacking scandal. Trump as recently as Saturday prodded the press to stop covering the story, labeling it fake news.
