Unlike ex-President Obama who would let one failure spiral into another, a great businessman like President Trump has the experience needed to adapt to setbacks and come back stronger. He did it during his winning Presidential campaign, and he is doing it again on healthcare Today, President Trump invited Rand Paul to golf with him, and like always, he mixes business with pleasure. It obviously went great! After the golf game, Rand Paul had some really encouraging news on the topic of healthcare. Senator Rand Paul ✔ @RandPaul
This is exactly how you turn a temporary setback into a long term success! I had a great time today with @realDonaldTrump and believe we are getting closer to an agreement on health care!

Senator Rand Paul comments after day of golf with Donald Trump Early on in his 1st. month in office, Trump did say that it looked like Ocare could not be repealed immediately, that because of complexity, it had to be done in stages. He didn't say why he came to this conclusion. It sounds like something Ryan told him. I have not taken the time to read the complete the bill, but I did scan over it. I didn't like much about part 1, as it raised prices for the first 1-2 years and gave illegals the right to care. It hurt Seniors & Vets. (Trump supports the military & Vets.) First clue right there. Remember that Ryan is owned by the Insurance cartel and they helped write his bill. The raise in prices would give Insurance giants record profits. The Insurance lobby and Big Pharma donated $$$ to Ryan's campaign. It improved slightly in step 2 and step 3 looked good. After watching the Reagan amnesty fiasco where the democrats did not live up to their bargain, I'm feel that part 2 & 3 might never happen. Trump is aware of this. Possibly clue #2. Trump did say he supported the bill but technically, he wasn't excited about it...body language said it all. I now believe that Trump is playing Ryan and is giving him enough rope to hang himself. Ryan was a #Nevertrumper and continued it after Trump took office. Trump is aware of this, yet he handed healthcare over to Ryan. Clue #3? I think this could be his way of destroying Ryan. I think we all agree that Ryan must go. Trump said from the beginning that Obamacare would be repealed in late '17 & early '18 with good healthcare that would benefit all Americans. Ryan's bill doesn't really kill Obamacare. It's more of an amendment that would change Obamacare but it's still there to be messed with by a future Congress. Clue # 4? Trump is smarter than that. Again, I think he has set this up to trap Ryan. He gained valuable info about the House as well, who he could trust and who he couldn't. They are exposing themselves. This is just my take so far. It isn't etched in stone and I might change it given future moves. Friends, remember to read what I posted from the Heritage Foundation and just WHO voted yes. I suspect that Congress will try to bring that up for a vote again if Ryancare fails. It is a distraction. People would have forgotten about that law so will assume it is good because it had bi-partisan approval. It is a total stinker.
The Heritage position has not shown up so I will repost it here. This is the older bipartisan bill that passed and Obama vetoed. I suspect Congress will now try to bring this up, thinking that we are stupid and won't check it out. They will try to pass this mess. Again. From Heritage in 2015 discussing HR 3762 that passed House/Senate and BO vetoed: “Doesn’t the House bill qualify as an Obamacare repeal bill?” “No. The bill does not even touch Obamacare’s main two entitlement expansions: the Medicaid expansion and the exchange subsidies. The bill leaves all of Obamacare’s new insurance rules and regulations in place. It also leaves many of Obamacare’s taxes in place.” Read it for yourself. Reagan must be spinning in his grave. Enough of the phony grandstanding from the DC globalists including the House Freedom Caucus.
