I saw a note by a few here that LP was down. I sent a note to SysAdmin and he got it back up, so there it is.

It's a memorial site since Goldi died. That's why no one noticed that it had gone offline.
Thank you, Fred. I'm still sad about our last arguement just before she passed. I blasted her when she went on her rant about hating Christians. I quit a long time memborship on LP. I know it hurt her. She deserved it tho. I did not hold back. No nastiness, but a definiite reading her the riot act. It hurt me, too. I told her I leaving the site because of her hatred and intolerance for Christians. I know it hurt her because we were close. I'd check in and read thereafter but not comment. I was the former out damned spot. I still miss her and the conversations with my friends there. Always something new to learn and grow.
Yes. I knew it was getting shut down. I enjoyed chatting with the man who ran the site for awhile. Nice guy. No one wanted to run LP so I guess he had to shut it down. I'm thankful that he kept it going for a time. I so miss LP and Goldi-Lox. I think of her every December on the anniversary of her death announcement. Perhaps I'll start a memorial thread on that date to post here. I read comments--I still miss my friends here. I haven't commented much. I was working hard for Team Trump--in fact, I'm still there on his twitter team. I had to go back on Twitter. I could not handle the #Fake News and obvious manipulation by Clinton/$oro$ operatives. Mostly I straighten them out with facts. They cherry pic his statement, often twisting what he said or only partial quotes I go in and give his complete statement and back it up with facts and videos. It is tiresome taking on trolls all the time. I'm about to be suspended. @Jack watches me like a hawk. He has been shadow banning me to quite some time. I lost many friends who were banned. Jack is into censorship of Conservative thought. We are regrouped at Gab.Ai. It's a site that needs to grow. Not as many features as a twitter, but it is useful and they hope for the $ and expertise to improve their site . I've also been on The Conservative Tree House, which has more informed commentarians. Also Breitbart, of course. Nite all. I have missed you all so much. Hope all is well with you and your loved ones. :)

I notice that libertypost.net has been taken over by a scamming content farm. Most likely its DNS was allowed to lapse and the scammers scooped it up. And libertypost.org doesn't respond at all when I tried it. Maybe this Banned At LibertyPost category is overdue for the scrap heap.

Another check of both www.libertypost.org and libertypost.org both work fine. Do you have your own DNS service running, with LP hardcoded to another IP? I'm showing LP with IP: 69.164.209.218
Firefox and Chrome still won't load anything.
The names work fine for me, but the IP addy only shows a white page with "mxtv0lp2nx" in the upper left hand corner. Hacked by the Ruskies! That's the secret signal to attack! Victory shall be ours, comrade. After the holiday weekend of course.
There is no need these days to dedicate an IP solely for a specific domain name, and since IP's cost money, that's not usually done for ordinary web sites. Because of that, visiting an IP address often turns up nothing or a different site.
If you have the domain reassigned to another address somehow, it wouldn't matter which browser you'd use. On linux, open a command prompt and try "dig libertypost.org" and see what IP comes up.
I can ping it and it responds. It just won't serve me any web pages. I am on VPN though. Maybe they have a blacklist to exclude VPN users. You recall the trouble Goldi had with certain users. I got it to work on my iPad. I keep it off the VPN. So that probably explains it.
If it's the same IP, then it's very odd. Perhaps that included you, but A) I think that only affects posting, not reading, and B) it would mean your IP has not changed in years, which might be unusual. You could ask local friends & neighbors if they can see the site.
No, there are lists of known VPN sites. And they are notorious for trolls hanging out behind them. You recall the infamous VPN incident that Goldi had with a troll (who some still claim was buckeroo). But bucky won't confess to the deed. : ) So the LP admin may be using a blacklist of known VPN addresses. I use a very large VPN provider for my desktop machine so it would be on such lists.
