I have just finished reading where a blabbering libertarian Freedom Caucus member idiot openly cried like a little baby on the floor of the House because he missed a vote, now has the audacity to “compare Trump to a 5th-grade child.”

GIVE ME A FRIGGIN’ BREAK

Get his whining ass out of the House in 2018…..let him be GONE.

… a libertarian idiot and a member of the Freedom Caucus openly crying on the floor of the House because he missed a vote …

I still can’t believe this and after reading about it, I cannot help but notice that we as a nation, as humans, are in some big, HUGE trouble.

I have to ask myself:

Where have all the real men gone?

I mean real men. The kind that know what it means to be a man. The kind that take responsibility for themselves and their families. You know the male of the human genome that has always been around since man first walked the earth?

In this photo released by Warner Bros., actor
John Wayne plays Ethan Edwards in the 1956
film "The Searchers." The film is among the
American Film Institute's best western movies.
(AP Photo/Warner Bros.)

You see, what I saw this weekend is a bunch of men who seem more feminine than women. They seemed to have this wimpy notion that being in touch with their feelings and allowing fear to be the lead of their personality is the way to be.

Think about it. We have men that are more worried about their weight and appearance than most women, and man buns are the rage among the under 35 set. This is something a real man would not have ever been caught doing to their hair unless it was long and needed to be tucked up for safety reasons while doing their job.

Today in America, and in much of the west, males (notice I did not say men) walk around with makeup on their faces and take as long to apply it in the morning as women. Over the weekend, I saw something for the first time in my life, and it was a condemnation on what the status of a male is today. For the first time, I saw a male driving a car while putting on makeup.

Sure, you could say that this male was on his way to a Halloween party, and this is the time of year where that could have been true. However, this was during the morning commute while I was on my way to the airport. This male was in a suit, a business suit, and the makeup he was applying was not the scary kind. Although, it was a scary sight, and not because he was putting on makeup, because I have seen it countless times with women, but it was the fact that he was a male.

We have turned men into wimpy, overly skinny shadows of what men used to be, and this has huge implications for our society because real men still exist in much of the world. Real men still exist in much of the rising economic and military nations of the world. And real men always triumph over feminized men. Feminized men will always cower in the corner at the first sign of violence.

This is what the New York Times promoted in an article recently about what it means to be a modern man today. The New York Times actually wrote that a modern man doesn’t own a gun and does not want to own a gun. A modern man has no desire to ever own a gun or shoot a gun. Now, can you imagine our military populated by these kinds of males?

We have males today that are more overprotective of their kids too. I find it troubling that women often are heard telling the males in their lives to stop hovering over their kids. It used to be the man that would tell their kids to get dirty, get scrapes and get scratches.

I kid you not, while auditing a school of martial arts, I actually saw two “dads” covering their faces as their kids went through sparring practice. They covered their faces!

Where have all the real men gone? Real men are getting old, and the new generation of males doesn’t seem to have any desire to be men. When we have a society where the women are manlier than the men it leads to nothing but decline and destruction.

I am not saying that makeup and dressing well are not manly, but it is how you do it. Let's face it, 200 years ago, French men wore makeup and were impeccably dressed, yet they were indeed men. At one time in The United States, men were impeccably dressed, wore hats and were men.

Today we have males that sound like women, act like women, dress like women and who often think they are women. And it’s a shame when we as a nation, a society, have to depend solely on women to turn their boys into men.

     By Rod Eccles - October 28, 2015.

I wake up each morning and realize I am grateful that we still have a few good men left around.

One of those men is Donald Trump, who will Drain the Swamp and Make America Great Again.

Pull the damn plug, Donald, let the draining begin … (1 image)

Really? Because he did not repeal Obummercare and he let Ryan run the show. Thats not draining the swamp. Thats more of the same!!

He needs to repeal Obummercare first then he will being keeping his promise. Not slightly modifying it then making the GOP the new and full owner of the worst legislation in decades.

Uh….hmmm …

Who is now the owner of the worst legislation in decades….IOW, who owns Obamacare now?

Otto von Bismarck famously said, “Politics is the art of the possible.” This is a reality that President Trump and the GOP congressional leadership understand. Sadly, a small clique of rigid ideologues constituting about 10 percent of the Republican majority in the House of Representatives is clearly ignorant of this fact. These people call themselves the “Freedom Caucus.” Yet, by refusing to support the American Health Care Act (AHCA) last week, they preserved one of the most outrageous assaults on individual liberty ever signed into law. They have virtually guaranteed that Obamacare will never be repealed. Now they own it.

Some commentators have attempted to blame the AHCA debacle on the failure of Paul Ryan, Mitch McConnell, and the rest of the Republican leadership to live up to longstanding campaign promises. In a column bearing the hyperbolic title, “GOP cave on Obamacare repeal is the biggest broken promise in political history,” Philip Klein takes this position. Klein belongs to an unofficial group of conservative-leaning journalists that the immortal Jean Kirkpatrick might well have labeled the “blame Republicans first crowd.” These commentators habitually ignore inconvenient political facts and produce absurd assertions such as the following:

What’s so utterly disgraceful, is not just that Republicans failed so miserably, but that they barely tried.… Here’s the bottom line: Republicans didn’t want to repeal Obamacare that badly. Obamacare was a useful tool for them. For years, they could use it to score short-term messaging victories.… At no point were they willing to do the hard work of hashing out their intraparty policy differences and developing a coherent health agenda or of challenging the central liberal case for universal coverage.

This kind of counterfactual nonsense is what many career journalists — regardless of their original ideological leanings — begin to write once they have been absorbed into the Beltway collective. The reality is that GOP leaders, particularly Paul Ryan and Tom Price, have long since outlined a coherent health agenda. And the claim that Ryan and Price barely tried to sell AHCA to House Republicans simply has no basis in reality. Both Ryan and Price worked like dogs to get this deal done. In fact, they successfully worked with the White House to bring Mark Walker and the other skeptics on the Republican Study Committee around.

They failed in the case of the Freedom Caucus, primarily because Mark Meadows and his accomplices wouldn’t take “yes” for an answer. Meadows first claimed that his primary objection to AHCA was its refundable tax credits, which he characterized as “a new entitlement program.” However, when the leadership showed signs that they might be willing to compromise on this issue, he suddenly decided that the bill also had to contain a provision eliminating Obamacare’s essential health benefits mandate (EHB). Meadows knew perfectly well that such a provision was almost certainly going to run afoul of Senate reconciliation rules.

In other words, Meadows and most other members of the Freedom Caucus simply weren’t dealing in good faith. They insisted on “full repeal,” which they knew would never pass either house of Congress. President Trump has not been reticent about pointing this out. Yesterday morning, he took the Freedom Caucus to task thus: “Democrats are smiling in D.C. that the Freedom Caucus, with the help of Club for Growth and Heritage, has saved Planned Parenthood & Ocare!” When asked by ABC’s George Stephanopoulos about the gleeful Democratic response to his handiwork, Rep. Meadows made the following preposterous claim:

Well, I mean, if they’re applauding, they shouldn’t, because I can tell you that conversations over the last 48 hours are really about how we come together in the Republican conference and try to get this over the finish line… we are in the negotiation process.

Meadows is evidently delusional. With whom is he negotiating? It obviously isn’t President Trump or Speaker Ryan. Meanwhile, even as he tries to evade responsibility for his actions, even some members of the Freedom Caucus itself are distancing themselves from the group and the role it played in scuttling AHCA. CNN reports, “Rep. Ted Poe announced Sunday he has resigned from the conservative House Freedom Caucus over its opposition to the Republican health care plan.” Poe is from Texas, where the voters won’t be anxious to re-elect anyone who helped save Obamacare. He issued the following statement announcing his resignation:

In order to deliver on the conservative agenda we have promised the American people for eight years, we must come together to find solutions to move this country forward. Saying no is easy, leading is hard, but that is what we were elected to do. Leaving this caucus will allow me to be a more effective member of Congress and advocate for the people of Texas. It is time to lead.

Rep. Poe can see what Meadows has apparently missed. It probably isn’t a smart move to incur the wrath of your party’s leadership, including the president of the United States, while inspiring unabated glee among the opposition party. The Democrats know Obamacare is a disaster, no matter how much they lie about it, and they have been dying to be rid of that rotting albatross. Rep. Mark Meadows and his accomplices have helped them to hang it around the GOP’s neck. But the entire Republican Party isn’t to blame here. It’s just a few posturing members of a rump caucus, and it is they who now own Obamacare — lock, stock, and barrel.

Who Owns Obamacare Now?.

There are some who disagree with you and say that since the Pubs are in complete control of all 3 branches of the government and do NOTHING to modify Obamacare….the Pubs, or specifically the Freedom Caucus, now owns Obamacare.

Some would say …

In fact, someone just said that, in the article I posted above….did you bother to read it?

I guess not …

These would be political hacks. These people have their own agenda which has nothing to do with GOP or conservative movement and they damn sure do not have anyone but themselves in mind.

All sane people understand that you touch it you own it. So best to kill it and come up with your own ideals.

These would be political hacks.

A “political hack” by definition is …

… a negative term ascribed to a person who is part of the political party apparatus

David Catron authored the article in my post.

David Catron is by that definition, “no political hack.”

David Carton is a health care consultant and frequent contributor to The American Spectator.

You can follow David Cartib on Twitter at @Catronicus.

These people have their own agenda …

I saw no agenda that David Carton was promoting, maybe I missed it and you can point it out to me. what I did read was David Carton stating his “opinion.” which everyone is entitled to do….including you and I.

Furthermore, everyone has an agenda….well, I guess it would be more correct to say that almost everyone.

While some of us might basically desire to achieve the same end results or join with someone having a unified goal, we all likely have perspectives on how to get there or what you want to accomplish along the way.

That’s normal, and it doesn’t mean that someone else’s agenda is completely wrong or bad, it just means that we all need to be clear with each other on our wants, desires and expectations so that full disclosure exists….while realizing of course, this is sometimes hard to do.

Just felt like throwing this “agenda” comment into our discussion….because I constantly see people using the term “agenda” without expressing a relative meaning.

I know what he means. I've seen it too. Trump makes himself look like a bad Photoshop job. Those weird raccoon eyes do him no favors. Neither does the thick orange Tammy Faye Baker pancake makeup.

Maybe Trump should buy Weepy Boehner's tanning bed instead.

They have died or gone into retirement because nobody wants them. It younger generations the Clint Eastwoods have been forced to undergo brainwashing that purges them from existence.

"The possible" has become the promise of corrupt psychotic fantasy.
