WASHINGTON (AP) -- President Donald Trump says he expects to make a deal on health care, even though his first attempt failed just a few days ago. Trump is hosting a reception for senators and their spouses at the White House. It attracted both Republicans and Democrats. He says the bipartisan crowd is "a very good thing" and predicts a deal on health care will happen "very quickly." He says: "I know that we're all going to make a deal on health care. And that's such an easy one." Trump also sees potential for working with Democrats on other issues like infrastructure. He says: "Hopefully it'll start being bipartisan. Because everybody really wants the same thing: We want greatness for this country that we love."

But yesterday he gave a speech saying that eventually, after 0bamaCare collapses, then he would try again for healthcare reform. Doesn't Trump know what he thinks about a signature bill from one day to the next? The idea that Dems are going to repeal 0bamaCare just because Trump wishes it to be so sounds completely delusional. "Because everybody really wants the same thing: We want greatness for this country that we love." - Trump Uh-huh. Those Dems are just waiting to help Trump make America great again. Because they love this country sooooo much. Even after all the goodies that Trump dumped on Manchin, I'm not sure even Manchin wants to help Trump make America great again.
what’s best for Americans … Wasn't Trump saying just last week how easy healthcare would be? Nancy, Chuck and Donald are going to Make ObamaCare Great Again. The impossible dream, a vision splendid. Maybe it will achieve more than it has in the last two decades, we could hope so, but I urge, even though this is a voice in the wilderness, consensus. To do this you need to have both sides of politics on side, to have some skin in the game. One side can't agree on what must be done, and yet this has consumed more energy over the last eight years than anything else. What has to be determined is what is it you actually agree on? then you can start from there
I think we can agree that the Dems have declared war on Trump. It's a civil war without any shots being fired. The Dems are playing their customary role as the Confederacy with California leading their secessionist wing.
