Below is what happened on Trump's 37th day in office. You can find out what damage was done every other day so far on the Saddest Calendar on the Internet.

With guidance from climate change denier and EPA administrator, Scott Pruitt, this week President Trump is expected to sign an executive order that would reverse a handful of pro-environment legislation, such as Obama's Clean Power Plan.

The dramatic and sweeping directive, according to Bloomberg, aims to lessen the role that climate change has to do with governmental decisions, including pipeline approvals.

While critics see this order as a major setback to addressing climate change, researching renewable energy and promoting clean air and water, not all find the proposed legislation worrying. For example, Tom Pyle, president of the conservative, fossil fuel-oriented advocacy group American Energy Alliance, is quite excited. "This was a constraint deliberately set up by the previous administration to make it difficult to utilize coal, oil and natural gas," he told Bloomberg.

While much of the reporting on the Trump administration and the EPA centers on climate change and what the world will look like for future generations, there's another threat at-hand that could—and in some cases already has—devastate communities in our lifetime: safe water.

At the end of February, Trump ordered a review of Obama's Clean Water Rule, with the aim of rolling it back, according to the Scientific American. The legislation was enacted to help clarify the 1972 Clean Water Act, which is the main federal law relating to water pollution.

In the past, Trump and Pruitt have also both expressed that their new policies would not harm anyone's access to clean air or water. However, their 2018 budget proposal suggests otherwise. According to a source who read the document to Reuters, the administration is calling for a 30 percent cut on states' grants for lead cleanup.

While the threat of lead contamination is most frequently linked to water in Flint, Michigan, a December 2016 Reuters investigation found that "lead testing results across the country [show that] almost 3,000 areas [have] poisoning rates far higher than in the tainted Michigan city." Furthermore, the report notes that while "poverty remains a potent predictor of lead poisoning, the victims span the American spectrum—poor and rich, rural and urban, black and white." In East Chicago, Indiana, what Mother Jones referred to as "Trump's Flint, Michigan," 90 percent of the residents receive water through lead service lines. (Also worth noting that "90 percent of this population of 29,000 are people of color and one-third live below the poverty line").

In an NPR report on East Kentucky's struggle with sewage- contaminated water from the region's coal and gas extraction, Gail Brion, an expert in water treatment issues, expressed his skepticism of Trump and Pruitt's purported pro-clean water, pro-clean energy stance, making note of why it's so easy to flaunt infrastructure improvement while ignoring water issues: because unlike a bridge, you can't see water pipes.

"What you're seeing is a long history of non-investment that's now starting to cause long-term problems, but it's not flashy," Brion told NPR. "That's one of the problems with drinking water is that it's underground—it's hidden."

It may just be that they are not all entirely unreliable sources and totally wrong.

Looks like Donald is making lots of changes …

Climate Change Policy Will Suffer With Donald Trump -
How were climate scientists, policymaker and diplomats planning to deal with a Donald Trump presidency? The truth is, they weren't. People who have dedicated their lives to working to save the planet always preferred to focus optimistically on how they could push a President Hillary Clinton further to the left on climate policy. But Trump's move to the White House in just a couple of months will almost certainly bring an end to an era of promising action to address climate change in the U.S. and could unravel ambitious international efforts to do the same. Environmentalists who just days ago hoped to build on the climate successes of President Barack Obama will now be forced to fight tooth and nail to protect existing checks on greenhouse emissions.

Trump Threatens To Take Us Back To The Climate Dark Ages -
The fate of our planet has considerably worsened in the last 24 hours. Donald Trump has taken his first steps towards unwinding his predecessor Barack Obama’s hard won climate change legacy.

The Trump Administration Reportedly Told the EPA to Cut Climate Page From Its Website -
U.S. President Donald Trump's administration has instructed the Environmental Protection Agency to remove the climate change page from its website, two agency employees told Reuters, the latest move by the newly minted leadership to erase ex-President Barack Obama's climate change initiatives.

Trump Budget Blueprint Eviscerates Energy Programs -
The White House’s proposed “America First” budget forcefully kicks many federal climate-related energy programs to the curb, representing a possible turn away from renewable energy and a broad disinvestment in the research and development needed to transform the U.S. energy system into one better able to adapt to climate change. The budget “blueprint,” released Thursday morning by the White House Office of Management and Budget, proposes to fully eliminate or drastically reduce funding for a wide swath of federal clean energy programs and energy efficiency efforts. In all, it would cut more than 50 programs from the Environmental Protection Agency, including the Clean Power Plan, the Obama administration’s signature effort to fight climate change.

U.S. increasingly isolated on climate -
President Trump is keeping a host of his campaign promises on energy and the environment. Coal-fired power plants could get a new lease on life. The handcuffs are coming off the nation’s automakers. They’ll no longer need to worry about raising fuel efficiency standards to 54 mpg by 2025. Oil pipeline projects are back from the dead and Exxon Mobil is pressing ahead with $20 billion in new refineries along America’s Gulf Coast.

Donald Trump is preparing to make massive policy changes at the EPA -
Now that he’s president, Donald Trump is laying the groundwork to drastically reshape the Environmental Protection Agency in the weeks and months ahead. All signs indicate that Trump will soon issue a flurry of executive orders as part of the process of weakening various air and water pollution rules and cutting agency budgets. It’s all part of his plan to dismantle President Obama’s climate policies and make life easier for America’s fossil fuel industry. The big question is how quickly Trump’s team will act — and what sorts of obstacles they’ll face from both federal courts and career staff within the EPA.

I think Trump is doing a great job so far. MUCH better than I ever expected in my wildest dreams.

"the administration is calling for a 30 percent cut on states' grants for lead cleanup."

How about a 100% cut? Why aren't the states cleaning up their own mess?

Flint, Michigan, for example, caused their own problem when they chose to switch water supplies in 2014 and improperly treated the water causing corrosion in the pipes. So the rest of America should bail them out?

What's next? Spending hundreds of billions to bail out Illinois because the state underfunded teacher's inflated pensions? Bailing out California because they can't afford to take care of all the illegals they're sheltering?
