Levin presents a very strong case. Seems pretty solid to me. Especially when you consider that Levin is not real fond of Trump. Levin was a rabid Cruz supporter. Oh, how I would love this to be have been true and watch Obama do a perp walk into a federal courthouse. However, wanting and having are entirely two different things. I like Levin and I watched intensely as he pleaded a passionate case against the Obama administration’s spying on Trump. All the time Levin was making his impassioned presentation, I kept waiting for evidence. The hard evidence that would stand up in court….it never came. All I heard from Levin was the use of multiple media reports to frame his prosecutorial argument. So, in essence, with everything he presented…. the complete underlying Levin framework against Obama was based solely on news reports. Congress will now investigate this matter. If there is hard evidence to be found, and I really want there to be….I hope they find it. I am waiting to see the FISA requests published. News reports [if they are to be trusted] show the first request in June specified Candidate Trump by name, and was denied. The a second request was “narrowed” [which probably eliminated Trump’s name] and it was approved. While I have found no firm evidence anywhere, I do have an opinion. I believe there were FISA requests and Loretta Lynch initiated the FISA requests, then directed the whole process….while keeping Obama fully informed as to what was going on. More specifically, not what they thought was going on with Trump. If this all goes South on Obama....I fully expect him to throw Loretta Lynch under the bus. Where am I wrong on this …

While (B) seems to contradict the underlying permissive nature of Section 1802 as it involves a United States person, what the Snowden affair has demonstrated all too clearly, is how frequently the NSA and FISA court would make US citizens collateral damage. To be sure, many pointed out the fact that Fox News correspondent James Rosen’s email notoriously captured in 2013 when the DOJ was investigating government leaks. The Associated Press was also infamously wiretapped in relation to the same investigation.
(i) the acquisition of the contents of communications transmitted by means of communications used exclusively between or among foreign powers, as defined in section 1801(a)(1), (2), or (3) of this title; or
