p.s. Are you attending the April 23d DC Rally on immigration? If I didn't have a local wedding to attend on Saturday I was seriously thinking of stopping by.

Actually, tomorrow's my son's 8th birthday party, so I wasn't gonna be able to make the SecureOurBorders rally. However, I am pretty sure it has been changed to Monday at 10:00 AM in Lafayette Park. This Rally was initiated by the 911 Families for Security and the DeeCee FReepers and the Protest Warriors are just gonna roll their proposed rally into theirs. Not sure, but I think we're gonna be on C-SPAN...heck yeah, I'll be there...LOL!!

Pretty good...a whole lot of news coverage, I got interviewed a coupla times. The group that initiated the rally was the 9/11 Survivors for Securing Our Borders, and there were a good number of Militiamen and Militiawomen in attendance. They said they welcome all good patriots...didn't you say you were considering joining them sometime? That'd be cool if we could get a http://LP.org contingent to do a stint...apparently, they may need volunteer fence-builders before too long...that would be a roadtrip to tell the grandkids about, wouldn't it?!
Anyway, I stood with the DeeCee FReepers and my signs read, "Respect America!! Obey Our Laws!!" and "Me Encanta Inmigrantes...pero solamente Inmigrantes LEGAL!!"
There were maybe 100 folks there, with many more wandering by and checking it out for awhile...there was much talk of a big blowout "Secure Our Borders!!" rally this summer, maybe even getting Hannity involved.
Is mrconfettiman still around? I know he had medical problems a few years ago which he shared on FR.
I guess the last DC rally I went to was some sort of 2d Amendment Sisters rally with Ted Nugent's wife as the featured speaker. She's a hottie.
I saw some of the old gang there: leadpenny, BufordP, kristinn, Angelwood, Cal, gunsareokay, tgslTakoma and many others. I can't recall the month and year, but I think it was sometime in 2004...I believe I had already been banned from FR at the time.
I spoke with ForceTen last week...I don't know if you remember her. She lives in the DC area and invited me to visit. I've decided to visit a friend in Michigan instead. When I do visit DC again I'll be sure to let you know.
