The former White House counsel to Richard Nixon — the only U.S. president to resign from office — is warning that Donald Trump’s tenure “will end in calamity.” John Dean, the lawyer the FBI described as “the master manipulator of the cover-up” in the Watergate scandal, took to Twitter on Monday night to describe Trump’s statement on Sally Yates, a Barack Obama appointee serving as acting attorney general, as “nasty” and a “new low.” Trump fired Yates on Monday after she said she would not defend his controversial immigration and refugee executive order in court. A Muslim advocacy group filed a lawsuit earlier that day arguing that the order, which temporarily bars people from seven Muslim-majority countries from traveling to the U.S. and Trump says is needed to prevent terrorism, is unconstitutional. Over the weekend, it prompted waves of protests and confusion at airports across the country. Noting the turbulence that characterized Trump’s first week in office, Dean predicted that his presidency will end in disaster. “The way the Trump presidency is beginning it is safe to say it will end in calamity,” Dean wrote. “It is almost a certainty. every establishment horse's ass in the world is spinning anti-Trump propaganda or fanning it. Products of education that is really left wing propaganda, plus their own hysterical thoughtlessness, they won't be satisfied until they get Hillary or Karl Marx in total control.
Time will tell, but if there is one consistency with predictions about Trump, it's that they have been almost always wrong, including the "certainties".
I read the book and enjoyed both the movie and TV series of the Dead Zone.
Trump is the disinfectant best suitable for the White House right now. He needs to do some serious house cleaning so that we can get America back on its feet. When you have those in other cabinet positions undermining your orders like what Sally Yates did, they not only undermine the presidency but put this nation in serious jeopardy. Finally, we have a president with some spine and balls to take charge and say what he means and mean what he says.

He may have been the one who set the Watergate breakin in motion to retrieve a little black book from the office of Maxie Wells — and got himself appointed to be the one to get to the bottom of it.
