NEW YORK — A Massachusetts man who authorities say assaulted a Muslim airline employee at New York’s Kennedy Airport is facing hate crime charges. The Queens District Attorney’s Office says 57-year-old Robin Rhodes, of Worchester, was waiting for a flight to Massachusetts Wednesday night when he approached Delta employee Rabeeya Khan, who wears a hijab, while she was sitting in her office. Prosecutors say Rhodes asked Khan if she was praying. He then punched the door and kicked her leg. Khan fled and prosecutors say Rhodes followed her, got to his knees as if he was praying, cursed Islam and shouted “Trump is here now. He will get rid of you.” Rhodes has been charged with assault, unlawful imprisonment, menacing and harassment as hate crimes. It’s unclear if he has an attorney who can comment. Poster Comment: Simple assault would do it, IMO. The police/DA are getting carried away.

You can not be islamic and reject the principles and examples establifhed by the groups leader. As such Kahn displayed herself as a defiant or provative advocate or sympathizer of Jihad. According to a statement from the DA's office, Robin Rhodes, 57, of Worcester, was returning from a trip to Aruba, waiting for a connecting flight, when he spotted Rabeeya Khan, a contracted employee of the airport, sitting in her office. Rhodes allegedly starting banging on her office door, yelling obscenities at her and kicking her leg. The DA's office report said that when Khan tried to escape, Rhodes got down on his knees and began imitating Muslim prayers. He then began shouting at Khan, "(obscenity) Islam, (obscenity) ISIS, Trump is here now. He will get rid of all of you. You can ask Germany, Belgium and France about these kind of people. It isn't a big city but it does get its name in the news now and then, often enough that I knew the correct spelling. If 90% of news is who/what/when/where, then isn't spelling the place name correctly a requirement if you expect others to respect the quality of your reporting, let alone expect advertisers to pay you money for ads in your sick little rag (or website)?

How credible would you find a news report about the state of Conneticut and Senator Blumenthol? If you can't even be bothered to check the spelling of the name of place or person you're reporting on, how can the writer be trusted with any of the (alleged) facts in the article?
I would think it was a typo and move on, if I noticed it. I skim most things I read for content, not detail. When I go detailed, I go very detailed. I'll do that for something like the Scriptures or the Constitution, or a contract, but I never do that with infotainment.
