What kind of world must they live in?
The long story is that I have come to understand that the basis for the destructive and hateful nature of the ultra-left is rooted in self hate. To these people life is without objective meaning, purpose, or intrinsic value. They have no moral or ethical underpinnings and therefore find themselves in a perpetual state of despair. Hence, the self hate, a hatred they then project upon the world at large.
The short story is that it is so much simpler to simply say, "Butt Hurt!"
