The Australian parliament was disrupted by protesters today over an issue that has been long debated. This may be a small issue in a far away place but somewhat unprecedented in western politics. I guess you could say it is all happening in this very active political scene where the government is distracted from dealing with criminality in the Union movement to deal with a mob of yahoo. the Speaker has called for an investigation as to how they accessed the Chamber while the PM has a bemused expression as he waits for the call to answer the pressing questions outlined above, like was there a complete stuff up in Syria and how were we aided in this by our American allies Where has democracy come when it can so easily be given over to mob rule and the protesters apparently came armed with superglue and glued themselves to the fittings, comic opera at best
