Last week’s election marked but the second time our electoral college system screwed over Hillary Clinton. Not only did she win the popular vote on Tuesday but get decimated in the electoral college – when she ran in the Democrat Primary in 2008 she got more votes than Barack Obama but got fewer delegates.

Obama got 69million in 2012 and Clinton got 62million in 2016.

No one likes her they just want to vote for communism. If we took away illegal alien vote ie vote fraud Im sure demoncrat vote count would drop dramatically!

If you want my opinion states should have their own electoral college vote by county. That way no one or two counties can ruin the hole state! Even better do a county by county popular vote but may cause massive more voter fraud issues.

Anytime people bitch about popular vote show them county map vote count and who is getting screwed!

My goodness, that from you after I just finished devoting considerable time to recheck all the “Click Here” links in the articles I posted. I also checked them on another computer using a different browser. In both cases, all links are working perfectly fine.

I looked further into the problem you say you are having and found a case where an Internet Explorer was opening to wrong pages from links. This may be your problem. you can check it out at:

http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/251309/internet-explorer- is-opening-wrong-pages-from-links/.
If the hyperlink does not work for you again, do a copy and paste....it is a simple and easy thing to do.

Oh, I just remembered something. I believe it was Plautus who once said sapienti sat….translated from Latin, this means “something can be understood without any need for explanation, as long as the listener has enough wisdom or common sense.”

Think about it …

You posted to me:

! Click here to get a message saying this program has commited [sic] an error and will be terminated!
I see that hyperlinks are not only a problem with you, but spelling is also.

You then posted:

Go to hell.
Thanks for the warn personal invitation, but I am positive I would not like to spend time in your home with you!

Since you are upset, I will leave you with this Latin quotation that may be befitting your argumentative condition:

Absentem laedit cum ebrio qui litigat.

Alright, just one time….I will save you the trouble of clicking on the hyperlink since you have such a problem with hyperlinks.

Translated to English, the Latin phrase means:

To quarrel with a drunk is to wrong a man who is not even there.

THE OBAMA LEGACY

Republicans Now Control Record Number of State Legislative Chambers

By Barbara Hollingsworth | November 16, 2016 | 4:47 PM EST

(CNSNews.com) – Republicans added to their historic 2014 gains in the nation’s state legislatures with the addition of five state House chambers and two state Senate chambers in last week’s election, while Democratic control was reduced to levels not seen since the Civil War.

Republicans are now in control of a record 67 (68 percent) of the 98 partisan state legislative chambers in the nation, more than twice the number (31) in which Democrats have a majority, according to the bipartisan National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL).

“That’s more than at any other time in the history of the Republican Party,” according to NCSL. “They also hold more total seats, well over 4,100 of the 7,383, than they have since 1920.”

Next year, the GOP will control both legislative chambers in 32 states - an all-time high, according to NCSL - while Democrats will have total control of just 13 state legislatures.

In 24 of the 32 states with Republican-controlled legislatures, voters have also elected Republican governors. In contrast, Democrats have a “political trifecta” in just six states.

Since 2009, when President Obama took office, his party has lost a total of 919 seats in state legislatures nationwide, according to NCSL data.

In 2009, Democrats had total control of 27 state legislatures, and held a majority in at least one chamber in eight more states where power was divided. In contrast, Republicans controlled just 14 state legislatures.

During Obama’s first year in office, Democrats held 1,024 of the 1,971 total state Senate seats in the nation, compared to 889 in Republican hands. They also held 3,058 of the total 5,411 state House seats, compared to 2,334 for Republicans.

In addition, there were 28 Democratic governors, compared to 22 Republican governors.

However, near the end of Obama’s two terms in office, the partisan balance in the nation's state legislatures has been completely reversed.

As of Nov. 7, 2016, there are just 823 Democratic state senators out of a total of 1,972 seats nationwide, according to NCSL data. Meanwile, Republicans have increased their ranks to 1,089.

Likewise, of the 5,411 state House seats, there are now 3,029 Republicans compared to 2,340 Democrats – a mirror image of both parties’ status in 2009.

The Democrats’ prior advantage in the nation’s governors’ mansions when Obama took office has also been lost. There are currently 31 Republican governors, 18 Democratic governors and one Independent (Gov. Bill Walker of Alaska).

“Republicans grabbed more of America’s statehouses and governors' mansions during the Obama administration than at any time in the modern era,” the Washington Post’s Amber Phillips reported.

Last week’s historic flip of the Kentucky House - the last Democrat-controlled legislative chamber in the South - to Republican hands for the first time in nearly 100 years underscores the point.

In 2010, Democrats in the Kentucky House held a solid 65-35 majority. Six years later, the GOP now has a supermajority, and will control 62 of the chamber’s 100 seats.

“Democrats are now basically extinct in the South,” Phillips noted.

“Republicans bested expectations,” said Dan Diorio, a policy expert at NCSL. “Having already reached the peak of control in party history, Republicans will maintain a similar level of control in a year when many expected Democrats to net seats and chambers.”

”Anyone who said that Donald Trump was going to be a drag on down-ticket races is certainly eating their words right now,” Lisa Nelson, CEO of the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC) told CNSNews.com.

“When I talk to the states, most of them say they picked up state Senate or House seats because of Donald Trump. And I think that’s because of the forgotten man or woman people are talking about, who hadn’t shown up to vote in the past.”

Although most of the mainstream media failed to predict that Trump would win, those following state legislative races were not surprised by his victory, Nelson added.

“People in the states saw this race tightening easily a week before the election. In particular, I was talking to somebody in Wisconsin who said they were going to pick up seats because of Donald Trump on the ticket, and sure enough they did,” she told CNSNews. “A lot of those voters ‘came home’ in the last week or two. They were talking, but a lot of the media wasn’t listening.”

I agree that there should be a way to prevent a major city from taking over the entire state. If you live outside Chicago, for example, your vote is wasted. The attitude therefore becomes, "Why even bother to vote?"

If Illinois (and other similar states like California and New York) split their electoral votes, all the people would have a voice.

"Obama got 69million in 2012 and Clinton got 62million in 2016."

And that low turnout doomed Hillary.

But what did she expect? Trump was out there busting his ass doing 7 events a day with crowds in the tens of thousands, and Hillary was at home sleeping.

Her strategy was to run hundreds of millions of dollars of negative ads against Trump. Period. That was all she had.

Maps of the 2016 US presidential election results

[excerpt]

Election results by county

We can go further. We can do the same thing also with the county-level election results and the images are even more striking. Here is a map of US counties, again colored red and blue to indicate Republican and Democratic majorities respectively:

Now the effects we saw at the state level are even more pronounced: the red areas appear overwhelmingly in the majority, despite the closeness of the vote. Again, we can make a more helpful representation by using a cartogram. Here is what the cartogram looks like for the county-level election returns:

However, this map is still somewhat misleading because we have colored every county either red or blue, as if every voter voted the same way. This is of course not realistic: all counties contain both Republican and Democratic supporters and in using just the two colors on our map we lose any information about the balance between them. There is no way to tell whether a particular county went strongly for one candidate or the other or whether it was relatively evenly split.

One way to reveal more nuance in the vote is to use not just two colors, red and blue, but to use red, blue, and shades of purple in between to indicate percentages of votes. Here is what the normal map looks like if you do this:

I don't know what to tell you. As I stated, I rechecked all the hyperlinks I posted and none are broken and work just fine for me. I even double checked the ones on this thread that you are complaining about with two different browsers and they work find for me.

You are full of shit, Hillary. Adeios.
Needless to say that with your attitude and the way you approach a problem, I can easily understand why the publisher rejected your manuscript.

You're out to sabotage this site and are doing a good job at it.

That is an untrue malicious charge. Heavens to Betsy, I would in no way ever do anything to destroy Stone’s forum….Stone knows that, I assure you. However, while I will do absolutely nothing to ever destroy LF, I must confess that I will continue to raise Hell with the stupid Paultard libertarians and kick the asses of the anti-trumpers….and I will do both with great pleasure.

I sent PMs to 6 individuals with a request to check the hyperlinks. All that have reported back thus far state they are not having any problem, or have ever had any problem, with the hyperlinks I have posted. One person did suggest that you might be stuck in MD-DOS, but I would think that you are smart enough not to let that happen….are you?

After great deliberate consideration, I have come to the conclusion that you just have a personal animus against clicking on hyperlinks for some unstated reason and therefore you think that I am required to comply with your request to post the entire articles. That being the case, then I must inform you “that ain’t gonna happen” and you will need to “suck it up” and do it my way. That is, if you desire to read the information. If not, then simply locate the Ignore Thread hyperlink and click on it….then you will be out of your misery.

Thank you for your deep interest and strong desire to solve your personal problem. I am sorry there is nothing I can do to satisfy your specific and personalized need.

With my warmest personal regards,
and my deepest condolences,
Gatlin
