Don't worry about it. He's got some splainin to do to people who aren't going to be easily convinced he's innocent. He's going to be VERY lucky if he doesn't end up facing formal felony charges. Especially with all the bad press the SS has gotten the last few years over screwups, my guess is that this guy will be in their crosshairs. His multiple, escalating posts will be hard to interpret as "just a joke" and they were very lucid, so claiming "I was drunk/high" won't cut it either. If he tries the latter, his clients will run for the tall grass no matter the legal outcome. I hope the company he's just blown up is mostly or all democRats. His Series A investors (just came onboard in August with $5 million) are going to roast this clown; the "administrative leave" is just a pro forma fig leaf while they get the lawyers spooled up.
