I've been in El Paso, Texas and it looks like a war zone along that border. When I was taking a Greyhound Bus enroute to Chicago, El Paso was one of the stops made to check everybody on board for ID according to border patrol. This was back in 2009. Anybody not having proper id was escorted off the bus. As a matter of fact, two were escorted off. It was a full bus load too from L.A. to Chicago.
