It just keeps getting gooder & gooder..... I think the sharks smell blood in the water and figure if they don't take them down now, they never will.
Be interesting to see if the foreign donations dry up at the clinton foundation without a connection to power......
Wonder how long it will be before they start moving their money to Swiss bank accounts?

They better get it done quickly. I heard Newt on Hannity's radio program today mention something about getting that money back here and invested in the inner cities. Newt will most likely become one of Trump's strategic planners to move the Trump agenda forward at a quick pace. He mentioned all this offshore money coming home to invest in the US. So Vic was right about Trump having ideas of going after the elites and slamming them for taking their money overseas. I have a feeling a lot more people are going back to work soon. And that is how we pay for viable affordable healthcare.
Here is what Trump will do and how he will do it. Immigration, deportation, the wall, trade, infrastructure projects a military buildup, tax reform to bring home offshore money and lower corporate tax rates to the lowest in the developed world - these are all part and parcel of the same policy set. All of it is designed to get Americans back to work at full time jobs. That is the core goal: the increase financial security and a sense of well-being in the working class, by re-employing the Rust Belt. Note that Trump's policies are NOT specifically aimed at making the business elite wealthier. He is not a believer in trickle-down economics, but something much more akin to FDR's Works Projects Administration. Here is how it works. With a combination of the spadework starting the Wall, and a negotiation with Mexico with the preservation of some form of NAFTA dangling as the reward for compliance - or its cutoff (and Mexico's ruin) as the penalty for recalcitrance, Trump will start to build the physical barrier, but he will also get Mexico itself to start patrolling its Border Zone to stop the flow of illegals and drugs into America. Mexico has a strong incentive to do this if NAFTA is at stake, and the quid-pro-quo of Mexico enforcing the Border and dramatically reducing illegal immigration across it in exchange for the privileged trade status can be touted as a big net-net cost and job savings. It is not in our interest to have the Mexican economy implode, but we need to get something. The Wall will be steadily constructed throughout Trump's presidency, with status reports and films and such. It's an important symbolic gesture and a means to employ people - and also makes border control easier. Mexico cannot be sending a check to Washington directly, for political reasons in Mexico, but "Mexico" CAN be made to "pay for the wall", but imposing a tax surcharge on cash wires (e.g.: Western Union) from the US to Mexico. Large remittance payments are made by illegals, and the wires can be taxed through their agencies (Western Union, et al). In that way, Mexico, and specifically illegals, are 'taxed to build the wall". This too is symbolic, really, but the symbolism is importance. Meanwhile, the deportations begin. First up are the people caught coming over. They are not simply given court dates, but are sent right back. Secondly, all of the illegals in our prisons, or with criminal records - all deported. Third: welfare rolls and public services are used as catch-basins. Show up at the hospital, and yes, we do treat you, but then we deport you. You also wipe out aidfederal money to states that have "Sanctuary Cities", and you deputize state and local authorities to also enforce immigration law. This brings a lot of pressure to bear. You specifically target American businesses and punish them for hiring illegals. In this way, you cause a constriction in the jobs market that causes the legals to self-deport. Now, of course, the departure of illegals forces businesses to hire Americans, at higher wages, which is the point. This will not immediately soak up all of the excess labor in America. For that, you need the public infrastructure projects, and you need the military expansion. Those things all employ people. Finally, by getting dollars overseas repatriated, you bring the capital to invest in the US home, at the lowest corporate tax rate in the world. This will also create American jobs. In time, a labor shortage will develop, which will drive up wages, a good thing for Americans, and also drive up the desire of Americans for education and training in higher skills. That's how it all works together, and that's what Trump is going to do.
I'm curious though about all the money they've given to their political crony friends over the years. Wonder if someone can figure out where/who it went to and figure out a way to get it back/confiscate it?

I'm really surprised he hasn't had lead poisoning by now. Anyway I was thinking more of all the assholes like those who ran Solyndra and numerous other companies that received government money/contracts. Lots of money that could be recouped and would reduce their power to influence anything ever again. Taking their money away would make this country a much better place to live very quickly.
