CLEVELAND -- After a 108-year wait for a World Series championship, the Cubs had to wait just a little longer. Ben Zobrist smacked a one-out tiebreaking RBI double in a two-run 10th inning that lifted the Cubs to an 8-7 rain-delayed victory over the Indians Wednesday night in Game 7. I'm happy for them. I have out-laws from the Chicago area and I'm sure they are too.
Its amazing how accurate "Back to the Future" is. They were only 1 year off on their predictions that cubs would win in 2015! ;) To bad we did not get GOLDIE WILSON for president instead! ;(
I went to bed in the top of the eighth with the Cubs up 6-3 ... missed an exciting couple of innings.
