It's a liitle late to engage in the pretense of doing that shit. If he were serious and honest about it, he would have done it quietly years ago.

Standard proceedure is to spend a few days in a treatment center with a sad look on your face, then leave decreeing yourself to be a new man who has seen the light. I seriously doubt he has checked into an addiction center. I would suspect he is hiding while in a witness protection program.

That's what I was indirectly referring to, and why I put "safe house" in quotes. He has been cooperating with the FBI and authorized a search of the computer without a warrant. He wants to be under guard 24/7.
