They just lived on my computer. That was my practice for all my email accounts. I didn't have a particular form of organizing them. I had a few folders, but they were not deleted. They all stayed in whatever device I was using at the time or whatever desktop I was using at the time."
The FBI found 650,000 emails on the Weiner laptop. That was weeks ago, not last Thursday.
The find was reported to the Assistant Director of the FBI. At a meeting early last week, FBI officials discovered the agency had made no move to obtain a warrant to search the laptop.
After this, the Assistant Director had the email investigators consult with the Weiner investigators who advised that the emails were potentially relevant. Then, Comey was advised. Then Comey decided to go forward and notify Congress.
The Assistant Director allegedly claimed he repeatedly instructed agents to continue their investigation of the Clinton Foundation. Agents allegedly maintained they were given the order to "stand down," and were told the order came from the Assistant Director.
The Assistant Director of the FBI is Andrew McCabe, whose wife received nearly a half-million dollars in political donations from a PAC of Terry McAuliffe.
The other FBI investigation is allegedly into the Clinton Foundation.
This may lay bare the overflowing cesspool of corruption at the Clinton Foundation.
It may also show corruption by Assistant FBI Director Andrew McCabe and associates.
