Does Wikileaks even know their "supporters" are behind the attack? Or are they just assuming? The attacks are to the disadvantage of Wikileaks as they release information. Seems it would be to the advantage of Clinton as she can blame it either on Wikileaks and/or Putin. Who else wins with this?

This could be like Don Vito is absent and Sonny is running the gang, or it is miscellaneous lieutenants running amok. Taking down part of the backbone has not been done before. It could be a state sponsored action, U.S.-sponsored not being impossible. I can't narrow it down at all. Of course, you are correct that it benefits Clinton and the Dems party.
