Just the same sermon using different words. Actually, I heard a very good sermon on the book of Job a few weeks ago. People often ask, "why does God cause this?" My body is wearing out, the result of a hard life and it seems I must experience everything so I can exercise my faith just as Job did because he never lost faith. The other day my physio told me he had never seen any thing like the structures in my leg but hallajuah this morning my blood pressure has returned to normal. The word of God and His laws were written and passed on by Moses to the Israelites not the Christians. What the Christian church (originating from Roman Catholic Church) did was change the laws of the Sabbath day to Sunday. The original first day of the week was Sunday and Saturday was the seventh day of rest. This is not only the confusion that has misled many sincere followers of the true Sabbath day but also confusing them regarding what God had ordained as the biblical feast days. And that He did not authorize any other strange feast days for us to observe for He looked at them as abominations. Just read your bible cause He really does make that clear. The Christian message is all are sinners saved only by the Grace of Christ's death, not their own works and by the way the Christian church gave birth to the Roman Catholic Church, not the other way around. Christ didn't found the Roman Catholic Church but the Church in which he is the head of every man The Bible tells us that what day we observe or what we eat has little relevance. God isn't looking for rule followers but true followers. as for God having nothing to do with Christians It was God who affirmed Jesus to us and told us to listen to him, that was everyone Jews included. Jesus instituted a new covenant, I don't think you know your Bible as well as you think you do. The bible makes it very clear what day we observe and what we are to observe as far as our diet. That is relayed in both Deuteronomy and in Leviticus and in Exodus. God never abandoned those. Just because there exist a new testament does not mean He abandoned his original commandments. To fear God and His laws is the beginning of wisdom.
