We used to have a first amendment that allowed shows like that. Today, it only protects the free speech of minority groups. Straight, Christian, white males - - you know them, they founded this country -- can just STFU.

You ask why today's TV sitcoms aren't funny? Because they're stupid and mean. They're scrubbed and sanitized for political correctness. The cast must reflect a cross-section of America. White males are depicted as clueless morons who need to be educated by minorities, women, the handicapped and gays on the way things really are.
Whar happened to Westerns? The strong white male with a gun? Good triumphs over evil? Lessons learned.
the problem is you now take yourselves too seriously. The sitcoms of today arn't funny, they are mostly stupid and having to have representative minorities in the cast is the most stupid idea ever.
You couldn't have a western today because the plot will ineveitiably get around to white men slaughtering a minority
