A man hallucinating on synthetic marijuana stabbed himself repeatedly in the neck while saying "God told him Trump would be president," according to police in Steelton.
Officers were called to the 200 block of North Second Street just after 5 a.m. on July 29 after receiving a call about a suicidal person, police said.
Officer learned that Nathaniel Geyer, 19, had gotten into a fight with a relative, who suffered a bruised arm during the altercation.
Police said Geyer "was smoking synthetic marijuana and hallucinating. He did stab himself in the neck numerous times with a knife while stating that God told him Trump would be president," according to a news release.
Geyer has been charged with possession of a designed drug, four counts of simple assault, recklessly endangering another person and harassment.
Court records indicate that Geyer has not yet been arraigned on the charges.
