Why are you voting for Donald Trump?

OR

Why are you NOT voting for Donald Trump?

1. He is an emotionally fragile drama queen.

2. He has no political experience

3. He is a narrow-minded bigot

4. He is a conspiracy theory believing kook

5. He is an extremely poor leader

6. He is dishonest and untrustworthy

7. He has dealt unfairly with his workers, his vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors as his primary means of "negotiation"

8. He is a weak and shallow man who disrespects women and mocks the disabled, elderly, and infirm.

9. He would be the worst president in history.

Why are you NOT voting for Donald Trump?

1. He is an emotionally fragile drama queen.

No, I don't see that at all.

2. He has no political experience

That's a plus, not a minus.

3. He is a narrow-minded bigot

I disagree.

4. He is a conspiracy theory believing kook

That the Clintons have corrupt influence over the gov? It's apparently true.

5. He is an extremely poor leader

No, as a real estate mogul, he has plenty of leadership experience.

6. He is dishonest and untrustworthy

I've seen no evidence of this.

7. He has dealt unfairly with his workers, his vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors as his primary means of "negotiation"

Possibly with business contacts he's been harsh and as aggressive as the law allows, but the consensus seems to be that among those who've worked with him, he's very fair. He's also been generous in charitable causes for people who've needed help.

8. He is a weak and shallow man who disrespects women and mocks the disabled, elderly, and infirm.

No, don't see that either. The media attempts to cast him that way, but I think the reality is that he deals with these groups without regard to their status, which comes off as disrespecting the group they are in, instead of what they have specifically done.

9. He would be the worst president in history.

No, not at all.

His biggest negative is he is very proud / arrogant. He thinks he can do everything, and I think he'll discover how limited he is once he gets elected. He's also an authoritarian, and doesn't seem to have much sympathy for people wanting to exercise their civil rights. As a lifelong millionaire, he doesn't have experience with having to live helplessly under rules or regs that are unfair or unjust.

On the plus side, he's not corrupt in the way the Clinton's are openly so. He's not running for prez for his own benefit, unlike Hillary who craves the power of the One Ring that Rules them All,and who said she deserved to be president. Trump has a sound concern and respect for the country (though again with differing ideas from me about what's best) and has potential to clean out corruption inside of DC which is enormous.

He won't do everything I like. He'll do things I don't like. But he's the man for the job. Hillary will suck wealth out of the US for her own personal benefit.

Why are you NOT voting for Donald Trump?

1. He is an emotionally fragile drama queen. - No, I don't see that at all. – OK, you are ignoring the obvious - IMHO

2. He has no political experience - That's a plus, not a minus.

Not for the most powerful leader in the world. It is a frightening scenario indeed. This arrogant man, having the launch codes at his disposal? NO! Even Ted Cruz would be less of a threat to the continued existence of the world.

3. He is a narrow-minded bigot - I disagree.

Convince me – please cite some examples of his open-minded inclusiveness. - And eating Taco Bell doesn’t count!

4. He is a conspiracy theory believing kook - That the Clintons have corrupt influence over the gov? It's apparently true.

No, he’s a Birther, and anti-vaxer, and he believes that Cruz’s father was involved with the Kennedy assassination. He also references stories from The National Enquirer as being reputable…and as recently as last week, stated publicly that the election will be rigged. I believe he’s a whack-job.

5. He is an extremely poor leader - No, as a real estate mogul, he has plenty of leadership experience.

Longevity does not make one a good leader. His leadership style is that of a bully. Taking advantage of whomever he can, because he can. NOT good leadership.

6. He is dishonest and untrustworthy - I've seen no evidence of this. Look into the operations of, bankruptcy, and soon-to-be closing of the Trump Taj Mahal in AC.

7. He has dealt unfairly with his workers, his vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors as his primary means of "negotiation - Possibly with business contacts he's been harsh and as aggressive as the law allows, but the consensus seems to be that among those who've worked with him, he's very fair. He's also been generous in charitable causes for people who've needed help.

See # 5 above as an example -

8. He is a weak and shallow man who disrespects women and mocks the disabled, elderly, and infirm. - No, don't see that either. The media attempts to cast him that way, but I think the reality is that he deals with these groups without regard to their status, which comes off as disrespecting the group they are in, instead of what they have specifically done.

You can choose to “see” him any way you wish, his weakness and insecurity is obvious to me, and millions of others.

9. He would be the worst president in history.

No, not at all.

I think this is the area in which we really disagree. The Donald Trump I see has no concern or respect for anyone or anything beyond his own interests. He doesn’t even have any sincere respect or loyalty to his own party! He will bully his way to personal gain at the expense of anyone who offers any resistance. I remain unconvinced that he would “clean out corruption” in fact I believe that if he were to be elected the level of corruption in Washington would rise to the Mugabe level by this time next year.

The "Birther" possibility on Obama is real. Certain? No, but I think there is a very real possibility Obama was born in Kenya. If Comey doesn't want to prosecute Clinton in spite of obvious evidence, what does it say about the trustworthiness of Obama's BC? Political powers will trump legal powers any day of the week.

Political experience has nothing to do with possessing power to launch nukes. Unless you can find a historic case of a politician launching nukes correctly and justly.

Taking advantage of people has nothing to do with leadership, either positively or negatively.

Dealing with bankruptcy has nothing to do with honesty.

There is plenty of room for emotionally charged characterizations against Trump. A lot of people don't just disfavor him, but outright hate him. For them, and perhaps you, seeing Trump in an unfavorable light is "obvious". Your responses to me are not particularly impressive in substantiating anything objectively negative about Trump.

No, Trump is not perfect, and again I'll concede he does have negative points I don't like. But just because someone doesn't like his personality or manners does NOT mean he's not the best fit for president. He's not running for pope, after all. And Hillary's negatives are far, far worse.
