There does seem to be a general move away from public forums over the past years. Facebook and other alternative digital communications may be the reason. The rate of change tech brings to the world seems to be increasing in speed.
Well, I don't do facebook. etc. I guess I am old school. Guess I will hang around.
I did it for a while, but I don't like it.
Problem with FB is everyone has to be a "friend" or not a "friend". And there are things you would share with family but not with associates or coworkers, and vice versa. Ideally, you'd have a separate login for each class of people in your life. But it doesn't work that way.

There is a way to group your postings on FB so that only friends or family see what you post.
