I don't know why a few sentences that were very similar to "Bigfoot" Obama's speech are important, but MSNBC and CNN have been treating this like it was the next Watergate all morning.
Obama has played at being a president while enjoying the perks … golf, insanely expensive vacations at tax-payer expense. He has ignored the responsibilities of the job; no plans, no budgets, no alternatives … just finger pointing; making him a complete failure as a president
Similar ? Paragraphs were lifted almost verbatum. The only thing that will temper the negative reaction is that the emperor's VP is known for stealing whole speeches. The speech writers who proofed this should already be unemployed .
In bridge, you have wild cards called trump cards. The trump cards are really wild because they change from hand to hand, depending on the bidding.
It was several sentences at the beginning of the speech. Stop getting all your info from DNC outlets. Or maybe you're just a Paultard throwback. Good point. Plus these Pols all use the same group of speech writers. I hope people don't think words in speeches, especially commonly used political themes, are copyright material. If that be the case no other President could use the word "Hope" even though Obama wore that carpet out even though Bubba Clinton used it as well...often. And no one took Biden to task for actually plagiarizing word for word a speech by a British MP. Saying words like "hard work" and "determination" is much different and common than saying "a thousand points of light." Reagan used "bright shining city on the hill" as a quote in his speeches. Many other Republicans did as well.
I was at an appointment this morning and they had CBS morning news on. It was all about Melania this morning. All about how her speech now "clouded" every other speech last night. Yeah I get it, Trump may have used the key words to get media, however, great speeches by great Americans are now clouded because they looked for something to directly go after Trump and he gave it to them.

It is a good illustration of the constant observation I've made about the Trump campaign . It is lazy and refuses to do the grunt work necessary . He should be blowing away that hard core criminal Evita . Yesterday's opening day at the convention was a fiasco ;badly mismanaged from beginning to end. Redleghunter is right . There was some great addresses from a number of speakers including Sheriff David Clarke and Rudy . But the news cycle today is dominated by this obvious major gaffe.

Yes, they were very similar. But it was only a few remarks at the beginning of the speech. Almost all of the speech was quite original. However, the MSM is hardly reporting that.
