Good point. Plus these Pols all use the same group of speech writers.
I hope people don't think words in speeches, especially commonly used political themes, are copyright material. If that be the case no other President could use the word "Hope" even though Obama wore that carpet out even though Bubba Clinton used it as well...often. And no one took Biden to task for actually plagiarizing word for word a speech by a British MP.
Saying words like "hard work" and "determination" is much different and common than saying "a thousand points of light."
Reagan used "bright shining city on the hill" as a quote in his speeches. Many other Republicans did as well.
