JOSEPH, Mich. (WOOD) – Three people have been fatally shot and one injured in a shooting at the Berrien County Courthouse in Southwest Michigan, according to a county commissioner. The commissioner confirmed to 24 Hour News 8 that two of the victims are courthouse employees and the other fatality, an inmate who was in custody at the time of the shooting, was the shooter. The severity of the surviving victim’s injuries is unknown. The shooting happened around 2:30 p.m. at the courthouse, which is located on Port Street in St. Joseph. The courthouse is still on lockdown, but the scene is secure, the commissioner confirmed. An apparent witness posted video outside the courthouse earlier Monday afternoon to Facebook Live, showing a heavy police presence. 24 Hour News 8 has several crews headed to the scene who are working to get more information. Well, how do YOU think the inmate got the gun? Most likely, from a court cop. Well, I don't really think the officer "lent" his pistol to the inmate. I am assuming the inmate took it from him. So many of those courthouse officers are usually old guys. I guess we will get the details later.

Just heard on the radio, they said while the inmate was being moved, a fight occurred, and the inmate overpowered the officer and took his weapon, then shot him, and another officer.

Update: The inmate was being moved, a fight occurred, and the inmate overpowered the officer and took his weapon, shooting him and a woman and wounding both, then shot a killed two bailiffs. The inmate attempted to flee and was later killed ... without due process.
Was it ever reported if the inmate was an Obunghole son, or a muzzie ? I am assuming the inmate was hand cuffed. I really have to wonder why he was not cuffed behind his back. If he had been, he could not have done all this. Somebody really screwed up big time ! An update to the update: "Berrien County Sheriff Paul Bailey initially told reporters that Larry Darnell Gordon wasn't handcuffed at all Monday during the brazen courthouse escape attempt. On Tuesday, Bailey revised that account, explaining Gordon was handcuffed in front but that the restraint was not attached to a belly chain, which security experts say is a safer way to restrict movement."
