Violent speech supports violent action. Cop-haters don’t seem to care about the violence their rhetoric helps incite.
Vitriol aimed at cops has followed by attacks on cops.
The extremist with their flaming cop-hatred agenda set the stage for the acts of violence that killed 5 Dallas police officers last evening.
Free speech is fine but the use of free speech to propagate hatred that results in domestic terrorism against police is not acceptible.
It is time for those who promote cop-hating to give serious consideration to what the results they are achieving.
Furthermore, now may be the time for those who provide a platform from which cop-haters spread their vitriol that results in inciting violence to consider how much of a platform they wish to continue to provide these cop-haters….or if they should provide any platform at all.
