Eleven Dallas law enforcement officers were shot, three fatally, by what is believed to be two snipers who opened fire during a demonstration downtown over recent police shootings in Minnesota and Louisiana, the Dallas police chief said. The snipers fired from an elevated positions on police officers minutes before 9 p.m., Dallas Police Chief David Brown told reporters. "We believe that these suspects were positioning themselves in a way to triangulate on these officers from two different perches in garages in the downtown area, and planned to injure and kill as many law enforcement officers as they could," he said. Some were shot in the back. Three of the 11 officers died, two are in surgery and three are in critical condition, Brown said.

Sounds like a cop to me. And investigating tuition voucher fraud is a worthwhile endeavor. Of course, he's not the only one who has stated that police are trained to be paranoid. Baseless paranoia about crime in America drives police violence So long as it can be pretended that a police officer had reasonable suspicion his life was in danger, he can get away with anything. I hope it’s unfair to accuse every cop who kills an unarmed, nonviolent citizen of having enjoyed doing it. But if the majority of them really do feel their lives are in peril, and that they need to act out in the most lethal manner possible, then there is something seriously wrong with their psychology. To be that paranoid, that knee-jerk with lethal force, is uncalled for in the streets of America, where violent crime has actually been sharply declining for most of the last 20 years. But this paranoia is a big part of what’s wrong with the average American police officer. Not all of them, of course – many, perhaps even most (although the jury’s still out) are intelligent, compassionate, reasonable, level-headed people. But their training – not to mention recruitment methods and philosophy – prepare them to face an America that is under siege from a powerful criminal element. This line of thinking has serious consequences for ordinary citizens who encounter police and has resulted in way too many outrageous, egregious instances of police using uncalled-for deadly violence. I read the article you posted. But the point in mine posting that video was to inquire several things: 1) Everybody commenting on that video from that site, seems to want to discredit the woman. But my question is, where is that officer's body camera to dispute what she recorded? (2) The cop pulled the couple over for one thing which was a broken tail light. So why did the officer use such brazen moves to get her fiance to turn over his id? It's insane just watching what that officer did.
I read somewhere that Wisconsin police don't have body cams. At least not yet. In comparison with the woman who in initially very stoic, the cop seems to be in a state of hysteria.

That may be true, but this took place in Minnesota. Speaking of cameras, do you find it odd that she started recording after the shots? Could it be there's more video before the shots which would negate her story and justify the shooting?
I believe there was another officer on the passenger side of the car. I'd be interested in his story.

Then I'll amend to say the state where the incident took place does not have body cams for police. No, it is not "odd" at all. Until shots were fired, there would have been minimal reason to record anything. The possibilities are endless, aren't they? Except that if the guy wanted to do a shootout with the cop who stopped him for a broken tail light with his 4 year old in the back seat, and his girlfriend in the passenger seat, he'd need a pretty good motive.
From what I've read elsewhere, I'm not sure it's his 4-year-old or his girlfriend. Be that as it may, certainly if she started recording as soon as they were pulled over -- and if her story was true -- it would be damning evidence against the police version of events, right? What possible good is a video after the shots were fired?
Your powers of deduction are incredible. Well it does show the cop in a state of hysteria, screaming and such, while she remained respectful and calm. It also shows the cop not seeking to administer first aid to try to save the guy, and not immediately calling for an ambulance. All in all, the cop seems very...... paranoid.
It's not paranoia if they're really after you. If you're any example, this cop will be lucky if he keeps his job. His "side bitch" is calm because she knows she'll continue to get her welfare, housing and food stamps.
Oh, he'll probably not be criminally penalized or fired, because there are no body cams or audio recordings to back up the woman's claim of events. He will be taken at his word that he told the guy not to reach for his license while her contradictory testimony will not be considered reliable. AS for paranoia, it is a feeling of fear that others want to harm you, regardless of whether it is true or not. One can be justly paranoid. It's another word for you to learn about, after "mock".
You know a lot more about what happened at the scene than anyone else does. You must be very smart.
