They left out some key ingredients like common language and customs. The EU was always a false entity . Most of the Brit laws in recent years have come out of the unelected hall of Brussels. If I were a Brit I would've voted to exit just on that issue alone. Tom this isn't done in isolation we will all feel the impact, this is the GFC all over again, particularly in Britain. There is a selfish part of me that says this is good for my nation, we will regain lost markets, and there is a part of me that says I don't need another hit to the bottom line and our stocks and currency have taken a big hit. The EU has trodden all over democratic process and has recieved a smack in the face for allowing it. Im not opposed to it but the problem is progressives in charge of the US govenrment are ruining the lives of the average person for their own personal desires.
