You took my remark out of context, I was saying that if you weren't open hearted enough to give one group welfare, so, no actually it isn't, what you wind up with is millions of destitute people and much crime as it used to be in earlier centuries. We have to stop looking at problems in isolation but view society as a whole, people are driven to migration by poverty, by hunger, by war. If you want to stop them coming you have to change circumstances in their countries. Don't tell me you give aid, because what you give is paultry and tied so that the benefits flow back to your own, you promise much and deliver little.
