You need to go to the history channel and see if you can still watch Enterprise 360, Enterprise. There's a number of hours and highlights the amazing record of the carrier Enterprise as it fought in every battle for the pacific.

Wow. That was before my time. I did have a cousin killed at Pearl Harbor, and had an uncle that was on a destroyer at Midway & Coral Sea. He would not talk much about it. Although he might relate something funny that happened, or talk about getting boxes of cookies, or cornbread from home. Those guys really went through it.

If you click on the link to youtube, there are a number of secondary videos listed. There is one about the Enterprise. It might be the one you are referring to, I don't know. I am getting ready to watch it now. I remember when I was a kid, there was a weekly TV show called "The Big Picture". I think that was what it was called. It was clips like the you tube videos about WWII. I always watched it, very interesting, and informative.

That was before my time. I did have a cousin killed at Pearl Harbor,
I had a bunch of older cousins that served in WWII,but only one who was shot down over Germany.
I served with a lot of WWII vets in the mid 50's (they were our top NCO's), who enjoyed scaring us troops with war stories whenever a cold war 'crisis' developed.

We're getting old man, I remember that and "victory at sea", black and white but really good stuff.
I spent one saturday or sunday afternoon with my 12 year old watching some of the older black and white monster movies and he absolutely loved them. What a surprise, I told him once that that super computer he was watching was a sparkler in a box. He said so what, the storyline is great.
I couldn't tell you how many movies have watched with my kids. When I tell them that I saw the movie when it first came out, you should see the look on their faces. LOL
