To: Stoner (#0) Lest we forget. I never will. I was just old enough (5) to remember Pearl Harbor, and then started to hear names like Wake Island, Guadalcanal, Midway, Coral Sea, etc.. I did have a cousin killed at Pearl Harbor, and had an uncle that was on a destroyer at Midway & Coral Sea. He would not talk much about it. Although he might relate something funny that happened, or talk about getting boxes of cookies, or cornbread from home. Those guys really went through it.
